Dated 1962 with beautiful john Steel hardbox artwork. Very rare in this condition with the box in investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition. Color and gloss are like new, all corners are solid, no repairs, no tape or tape marks (other than the marks from the original narrow factory packing tape, no stains, fading, tears or rips and no creases. There is the original K-Mark price tag for 41 cents on the left short side and very, very light general wear as shown. Molded in a beautiful gloss dark blue and clear plastic. 1960 issue hardbox in the Famous Aircraft Series. The wonderful artwork by Bart Doe is borrowed from the "Famous Artist" series. This is the third issue of this kit; the first issue was the 'S' kit and the second was the "Famous Artists". Includes working wing flaps, centerline drop tank, 2 Bullpup missiles, two Bullpup wheeled trailers and a ground crew of three. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the decals are 100% intact and flat but have numerous age foxing stains on the backing sheet. The box top is graded 'good-' because it has significant, even wear and a light stain at the lower left corner.
