Nitto Tupolev Tu-144 Supersonic Transport, 1/132, 173-500

Rare early issue of the very near 1/144 airliner. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Tu-144 was the worlds first supersonic transport, beating the Concord into the air. A series of accidents, however, robbed the aircraft of the fame it might have had. She cruised at mach 2.35 and carrier 120 passengers.

Revell was famous for the 'series' concept; older kits were put into boxes with dramatic new art and given series names such as this one, or 'Famous Artist' & 'Famous Aircraft.' Never started. Hard-to-find limited production craftsman kit. Czech Model (Czech Masters) kit are known for accuracy and fine, scale detail. Parts are cast in high definition resin and feature very fine recessed panel line detail. Kit is never started and complete. Due to the small size of some parts, these kits are recommended for the experienced model builder. Kit does not come with instructions, but assembly is very straight-forward. Decals must be furnished by the builder.

Features very highly detailed cockpit, detailed gear wells and engine air inlets, drop tanks, ECM pod, Sidewinder and Sparrow missiles, optional position canopy, speed brake and pilots boarding step, detailed radar and optional position radome and an excellent decal sheet for three aircraft (1st TFW Langley AFB / 33rd TFW Elgin AFB / 32nd TFW The Netherlands). Features very high quality moldings with fine recessed and raised detail and pre-shaped strut material. This kit has not been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts. Not recommended for builders who are not experienced with vacuform kits.

UPC Nakajima Ki-44 Tojo - (ex Fujimi), 1/70, 8013-49

From older but quality Fujimi molds. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

Aurora Gotha Bomber G-V, 1/48, 126-198

The box has factory-new color and gloss but flaws include a crease at the upper left and light wear as shown, especially near the 198 price circle. Dated 1958 with 'Famous Fighters in the sunburst logo and the 1.98 price circle at the upper right. Jo Kotula composed the stunning composition for Aurora; by this point, his commercial art in aviation was in high demand. This big and impressive model is molded in a stunning gloss deep burgundy and black. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. This model is part of a very successful 1/48 scale WWI series that Aurora started in 1956. They sold so well that they introduced new kits almost annually well into the 1960s. Some sold well right up until the end of Aurora in the mid 1970s.
