Hard-to-find Soviet Tri-Jet design in Cold War Aeroflot markings. The box is in in 'excellent' condition which is rare. Features large colorful decal sheet and good overall surface detail. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. KVZ was the name used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft.

First issue hardbox kit dated 1958 with great box art. This is a perfect 'Classic Builder' and not the common reissue. This is the 1968 release of this kit, which may have only been issued twice. The Boeing SST was modeled here in the second (-200) variant which still had the swing-wing design which proved impractical in this aircraft. The damaging effects of sonic booms over population centers ultimately contributed to the cancellation of the project. Nicely molded with all recessed panel lines.
