1983 issue fom Airfix molds and an excellent model of the most famous of the 'V Force' triad. Includes all parts to build one of two versions - aircraft 'XL 321' with a nuclear Blue Steel stand-off missile or iron bomber 'XM 607' Features pilots/cockpit, detailed landing gear, optional Blue Steel missile, optional position boarding hatch and ladder and more. Please note that the box top displays better than the 'fair' rating but is graded as such because the lower long side panel has a missing 3/5" x 3" section where the 'Golden Tokens' were remove.

Rare first issue hardbox from the late 1950s and a very high quality kit for that time. Features a full hull with propeller & rudder detail, fully detailed deck, nine individually elevating 16 inch guns, rotating main and secondary turrets, fully detailed forward and aft island structures with radar, gun directors and range finders, individually molded 20mm guns with shields, helicopter, flag sheet and full decals including draft markings. Inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) part, the aft crane. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals, flags and instructions. NOTE: some 40mm gun barrels are broken off; some are included, but not all. Fine wire makes a perfect replacement. The two long superstructure walls are both neatly broken at the same place, but fit back together perfectly. Helicopter rotor has one broken blade but is present so you can repair it. 5" gun turrets have some broken barrels but all barrels are present so you can repair them.

1970s issue with fantastic box art. This is part of Nichimo's famous 1/500 scale battleship and heavy cruiser line. This full hull kit is designed for operation in water or static full hull or waterline display. Nicely detailed and features lower hull molded in a 'IJN Hull Red' and all other parts molded in a very realistic dark gray. Includes all hardware for motorizing with brass battery contacts, metal shaft, cv joint, switch and more. The kit has never been started. The plastic parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the hardware bag has been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. Nichimo did not include the motor in this issue; it had to be purchased separately. Please note that the box has pen scribble as shown.

From the late 1950s. The first aeroplane to fly across the Atlantic in formation! The S-55 was a unique aircraft with the passenger compartments in the floats and the cockpit in the wing; the two engines are mounted in tandem push/pull above the cockpit. The S-55 proved to be very reliable and airworthy, setting 14 world records for speed, altitude and distance with a payload. Three months before Lindbergh's solo Atlantic flight, the S-55 flew with stops from Italy to Rio and NY City. In 1933 Marshal Balbo led 25 S-55s to Chicago in about 48 hours. He then flew back without incident. Never started. The clear parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
