Very rare first issue from 1957. This box art was used for only one year or less; then Aurora changed to the much more common 'ground' artwork. This model was a very good early effort by Aurora and features retractable landing gear, removable tail section, removable & detailed jet engine, pilot, 'fair' cockpit detail and more. Molded in the correct glossy light gray and clear plastic. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Everything inside is correct for this issue, including the 1st issue instructions, large clear rectangular-based stand and early decal sheet correctly lacking the stand decal.

But on these kits he cut the sprue (trees) with the part numbers still attached to each number, so the parts are loose. Because of that, I have not inventoried these kits. This is the early "T" issue from the 1970s and the original 1959 molds; it is not the common reissue. This model can be built as factory stock or as a street rod and is well molded and detailed. The stock version features 348 CID engine with 3x2 and correct large air cleaner, detailed engine compartment, opening hood, molded in chassis detail with separately molded rear and front suspension, drive shaft, shocks, sway bar, lower control arms and more, full interior and opening tail gate. Other versions include a blown Cadillac engine, racing exhaust headers, custom open wheels or chromed wheels with knock-offs, interior with center console, 'Cal Custom' T shifter and Sun Tach, bed tonneau cover, lake pipes, custom tail lights and full custom front end. Molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. Never started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the factory sealed bag. The parts that were never factory sealed (chrome & clear) have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.

Includes #MC35134 Cast Resin BL-8 Howitzer Mk.VI Wheel Treads Detail Set in never used and complete condition. The BL 8-Inch Heavy Gun was first produced at Vickers in 1915. In addition to the UK, they were made in the USA Midvale Steel And Ordinance in Nicetown, PA. This weapon saw widespread use on every major front during World War I. Some were transfered to Tsarist Russia. After WWI the gun was considered obsolete; some were scrapped but others were put in storage. When the USSR invaded Finland, the USA sent some of their surviving BLs to Finland in 1939. The Fins did well with the weapon (as they usually do with anything obsolete) and so they remained in active military service until the end of the 1960s. This is a very well detailed kit from all new molds and has many pieces. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions.
