The famous and beautiful gull-winged SR-9 was the 1937 version of the SR series which began in 1933 and continued in production until 1941. The aircraft was popular and saw use as personal transports and executive planes. Five passenger could be seated in deluxe accommodations. The military used 45 privately owned SRs during WWII. Today this aircraft is very valuable and sought after by collectors and restorers.

This 1970s MPC issue is from original Airfix 1960s molds. It is a highly detailed kit for that time and features a very good interior, opening bomb bay doors, full bomb bay detail and weapons load, working ailerons, elevators & rudder, optional position landing gear and more. Decals are for 'Eddie Allen' and 'Joltin Josie - The Pacific Pioneer.' While the box has an obvious water stain, the decals are in amazing 'near mint+++' condition with no stains at all and not even any yellowing. The kit has never been started.
