Features over 95 pieces, all recessed panel lines, full cockpit and landing gear detail and decals for a P-70 of Detachment A, 6th Night Fighter Squadron at 3 Mile Airstrip, Port Moresby, New Guinea during May, 1943. Very rare and even more so in never started with the parts inside 'as they left the factory.' This first issue has a hauling trailer with working tailgate. The car itself is a very well detailed and includes all the parts required to build your choice stock, stock police car, super stock version, injected drag version or custom. Features stock 440 Magnum engine or modified version with stacks, detailed engine compartment, opening hood, racing slicks, full interior detail with optional custom interior parts ('Exclusive Thermo-Rubber Soft Seats'), molded detailed underside, racing slicks or stock tires, flasher lights, trailer hitch, police antenna and flasher light units, tool box, speed wrench, jack stands and floor jack and more. Molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires, metal axles and metal body screws. The kit has never been started. Inside, the parts that were factory sealed (white plastic) are still in the sealed MPC bag. The parts that were never factory sealed (clear, chrome and tires) have been inventoried complete. Very rare original issue from late 1969 and even rarer in never started and 100% complete condition. This model can be built as one of three versions. Features detailed engine, chassis and drive line, detailed engine compartment, removable hood, full interior, numerous custom and accessory options and much more. Molded in white, clear, red tinted clear, chrome and with rubber tires. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the decal backing paper has bug damage. The actual transfers have no damage. Instructions are 'excellent' and have no bug damage. The box top has a narrow strip of bug damage along the left edge; it's not really visible from the top but you can see it better from the left short side. It measures about 1/4 inch thick (at the widest point) and about 4 inches long.

Rare, first issue artwork from about 1955-56. This was a fine effort by Aurora for that time and an impressive model when assembled. Features retracting pontoons and rotating props. Includes correct early logo instructions which show the clear 'Triangle World' stand and the correct stand is included. This must be one of the first instances of the 'Triangle' stand being used as it is normally associated with oval 'Famous Fighter' logo kits. Molded in gloss silver and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note the 'good' grade due to small white paint spots at the right and a slight crunch at the upper right corner. It is interesting to note that the early Aurora PBY issue has at least three small variations to the box top. The very first issue says '1/4 SCALE MODEL' at the top right. Clearly, this kit is not 1/48 scale and someone at Aurora corrected it. Following that, there are two known corrections: early and late. On the early version, the '1/4' was blotted out with a dark blue oval or circle and '5/32' was added after the word 'SCALE.' It was now correct, but the appearance was not completely professional. This box is the early, uncorrected version.

Very well detailed kit featuring all recessed panel lines, full cockpit, pilots, internal bulkheads, cabin floor, detailed engines and more. NOTE: this kit has minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: two seats to floor; rear door to cabin, right wing halves; horizontal stabilizer halves. There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions. two parts are a different color plastic; they are from another issue of the same kit. The DC-3 is directly responsible for bringing the US airlines into the modern transportation age. She pioneered regular cross-country travel and flew over 90% of the passenger miles in 1939, virtually taking over the airline business. The speed, comfort and economy of the DC-3 was responsible for doubling air traffic only two years after it went into service.

Hard-to-find early issue Type 24 from original IMC molds. When Testors purchased these molds, they modified them, making any reissue of the 24 impossible. Features movable ailerons and rudder, full cockpit and business cabin interior, opening cabin upper and lower doors with stairs and magazine rack, removable front nose panel that shows the detailed avionics bay, removable engine covers & detailed turbojet engines, clear lenses for tip tanks lights, green and red tinted clear wing tip navigation lights and even a red tinted clear rotating beacon for the top of the fuselage. Molded in white, clear, chrome plate and real rubber tires, full decals including stripes and more. There is no assembly but NOTE: this kit has very minor painting. There is one coat of zinc chromate green on the inside of the (4) main gear doors, rear interior bulkhead and magazine rack; three cabin entry bulkheads are painted wood brown. There is no other painting. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals (in remarkable 'near mint' condition) and instructions present.
