Very rare and correct Brooklyn issue. This is the second issue of this kit - the first was in a rather plain flip-top box. This Brooklyn hardbox is in exceptional condition. Gloss and color are like new and all four corners are solid. Inside, the kit is 100% correct for this issue. It is molded in gray and does not have landing gear or missiles. Decals and instructions are correct as well as the early clear rectangular stand. Even the original tissue is included. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. When Aurora issued it's first two plastic kits, they were copies of the Hawk Model Company's F9F and F-90 fighters. Reportedly, Hawk was not happy about this and there were some words exchanged at some hobby trade shows. Hawk attempted to hide it's name - one example was using rivets to spell H-A-W-K in morse code to prevent further use of it's designs. Fortunately, the incident was not repeated.

Rare still factory sealed kit dated 1961 but likely from around 1963/64. The model is in investment grade condition and as just as it left the Aurora shipping box. The seal is still mint. The hardbox is in fantastic condition with like-new color and gloss. The date of 1961 is a bit early since this model does not have the 'sunburst' in the logo or the 'Famous Fighters' in the border. The kit has movable control surfaces and excellent detail for that time.

From 1996. Out of production kit. Large scale model of the navy Stealth Test Ship. Well detailed kit with extensive decals. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. between 1983 and 1985, the Sea Shadow was just over 49 meters long and could achieve 15 knots with a diesel-electric power plant. For years the Navy tested the Sea Shadow off the California coast but only at night. Testing centered around stealth characteristics, steering, automation and sea worthiness. The ship was not revealed to the public until April 11, 1993.

Very large and highly detailed wooden boat kit for static or RC. Includes rare the optional and desirable metal fittings kit B11-F. In the 1960s Sterling produced a line of famous and now legendary wooden Chris Craft Yacht kits. The kits were known for their scale fidelity, excellent design, strength and quality materials including mahogany woods as used in the actual boats. This is the largest one of the series - the 'Holy Grail' of the line - the 63' Motor Yacht. Specifically designed for gas or electric radio control or for a wonderfully detailed static model. Includes full size plans, instructions, drawings and photos of the full interior if you wish to model it, die-cut balsa and hardwood with inter-notched and self-locking construction, numerous die-cut African Mahogany sheets including cabin sides, windshields, aft cabin bulkhead, rear catwalk, transom and more, die-cut Gabon Mahogany decks and side catwalks, poplar motor mounts, decals and flags, reed molding, plastic for cabin windows, Venetian blind material, metal oval and round portholes, aluminum deck hatches, material for canvas skirt, marine hardware and more. This kit has never been started and is complete. No parts have been cut from the die-cut wood sheets, and the hardware bag is still factory bag sealed. Plans and instructions are excellent but have the expected paper yellow aging. The fittings set B11-F is in the original Sterling Box. The parts have never been used and is inventoried 100% complete with all parts.

Hard-to-find late 1950s or very early 1960s hardbox issue. The box has wear as shown, but the inside of this kit is factory new, which is very rare. The kit has never been started and is 100% complete with all parts, excellent decal and instructions, original sand paper, upholstery material, an unused tube of AMT 'Plastic Body Filler Putty,' Bud Anderson's 'Model Car Builders Corner' pamphlet and the foldout 'Your License to Drive' for the Authentic Model Turnpike. The model itself is features a highly detailed stock Ford V-8 with intake and triple carbs, detailed engine compartment with opening hood, rubber tires and optional hubcaps, velor upholstery material with the patters printed on the back, full stock interior, custom interior options including bucket seats, television, floor shift, seat belts and custom steering wheel, detailed underside with separately molded front and rear suspension, optional convertible top up or down configuration and the following options: chopped windshield and vent windows, hood scoop, chrome scoop teeth, custom grills, nerf bars, side pipes, Caron Top, chopped hardtop, rear roll pan and rear nerf bars, license housing, full custom nose, extended hood, quad headlights, custom tail lights, windsplits, headlight shields, fins and more. Decals are excellent. Very finely molded and detailed 1/48 scale kit with traditional high Monogram quality. Features detailed cockpit and gear wells and choice of two canopies. The decals are for Col. Howard, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. He was an AVG pilot and became the first US pilot to become an ace in both the Pacific and European theaters. His aircraft 'Ding Hao' means 'OK!' in Chinese. The model as never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
