1970s issue of the popular 'Profile Series.' Very cleanly molded kit with decals for all three aircraft listed. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions. The decals are 'excellent' which is rare. Airfix molded these kits in England, sealed them in bags and shipped them to MPC. MPC added the decals, instructions and box and marketed them through numerous outlets in the USA including hobby shops, grocery stores, dime stores and department stores. This arrangement with Airfix was older than the Profile Series, dating back to when the very colorful Airfix 'Craftmaster' kits were marketed in the USA.

1964 issue with fantastic framable box art by John Steel. This is an early issue that has the factory painted copper hull below the waterline. Condition of the factory paint is excellent. The kit is molded in black, dark brown and ivory/white. Large and highly detailed kit. Measures 36 inches long and 22 inches high when assembled. Features 20 crew members, full deck details, preformed rat lines, decals, flag sheet and excellent instructions for assembly and rigging. Includes all required rigging thread, blocks and chain. Never started. The white/ivory parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The black and brown parts bag had a tear, so I opened it and did a full inventory - all black and brown parts are present and in a new bag. Includes instructions and special booklet 'The Cutty Sark And The Days Of Sail.'

Be the only one on your block (or planet) using the Italian Airline calendar from 1961 for 2017. It will work perfectly next year. Very nice and large calendar from Alitalia. Measures 20.5" x 12.5" and includes 14 color pages - cover sheet, December 1960 and January through December 1961. Each page has a reproduction from a work of this famous artist. All sheets are present and still attached to the original plastic retainer. Color is generally 'excellent' on all pages although some had light foxing and small, closed edge tears. Will be shipped in a rolled up tube unless you have also ordered large kits.

Dated 1958 but the 50 cent suffix and logo make it from the mid 1960s. Investment-grade hardbox that is 'near mint++' with only the slightest wear. Molded in silver and clear with full landing gear, display stand and decals for 'FB-419.' The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Around this time, Aurora issued a series of inexpensive (usually 29 cent) small scale kits that were designed to sell at almost any type of retail location. The line was successful and further expanded - when Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they fit in nicely with this established line.

Revell DC-7 Flagship American Airlines - One-Piece Stand Arm Pre -S Issue, 1/122, H219-98

1954/55 Pre-S issue with the fantastic artwork of a DC-7 at the moment just before touchdown. Please note, this is the true first issue with the one-piece plastic stand arm, separate wheel axles, main gear struts without holes and instructions that illustrate this. Both arrangements - the one piece stand arm and odd struts with separate axles - proved to be very weak designs. Few were made as Revell quickly corrected it. The second issue has the familiar two piece stand arm, axles modlded into the wheels and inserts for the axles on the main struts. Correctly molded in gloss silver and clear and a large, colorful decal sheet. The instructions have a large, detailed American Airlines route map on the back. Decals are excellent with no curl and very light yellowing. The instructions are intact but grade 'good' due to a stain in the middle. The instructions can be read fine through the stain, but it does distract from them. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The box appears better than 'Good++', but is graded as such because you can see stains at certain acute angles.
