1997 reissue is from the original 1950s Strombecker molds. One of a series of classic and very famous Strombecker sci-fi kits. The model measures 24 inches long when assembled. NOTE: this kit has very minor and 'excellent' quality sub-assembly as follows: (3) 'tubes' assembled (3 parts #1 and 3 parts #2). There is no other assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. Designed by Krafft Ehricke of Convair's Astronautics Division as a 200 foot long, 600 mile-high orbiting laboratory for 4 men.

Still factory sealed. This large 1/20 scale model is one of a series of popular and desirable metal and plastic kits reissued by Gabriel from the original Hubley molds. Features excellent and detailed cast metal body, roof, hood, engine, suspension & more, many injection molded parts such as spoke wheels, interior seats and many other details, white rubber tires, two trees of brass plated parts, steerable front wheels, full engine detail, removable hood, detailed exhaust, suspension and driveline, complete interior, flexible engine hoses, numerous woodgrain decals including a full set for the body side, choice of license plates and more. The kit is likely from the 1970s. A brochure from this time lists Gabriel's complete car line as the 1909 Model T Sport Runabout, 1909 Model T Touring, 1909 Model T Depot Hack, Duesenberg SJ Town Car and SJ Dual Cowl Phaeton, Packard 1930 Sport Phaeton, Roadseter and Dietrich Victoria, Chevrolet 1932 Coupe, Roadster and Phaeton and Ford Model A Roadster, Pickup, Coupe, Victoria, Phaeton, Town Sedan and Station Wagon. The address is listed as 'Hubley Division, Gabriel Industries' and most of the box art shown is still the Hubley box artwork. It states that all items are shipped from Lancaster, PA, which is where Hubley was located.

Very highly detailed and well molded resin waterline model kit. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes illustrated instructions. The Sissoi Veliky was a pre-dreadnought battleship built for the Imperial Russian Navy. She took part in suppressing the Boxer Rebellion in China in 1900. She served in the Baltic Fleet and fought as part of the Second Pacific Squadron in the Russo-Japanese war. The ship was scuttled after sustaining heavy damage at the battle of Tsushima. She survived 12 hits by large caliber shells, but was torpedoed by a destroyer which started a major fire.The Sissoi Veliky was built by the New Admiralty yard, St Petersburg. She was laid down in May 1892, launched June 1894, and completed in 1896.On completion in 1896 the ship was sent to the Mediterranean to protect Russian interests during a conflict between Greece and Turkey over Crete. On 3 March 1897 the ship suffered a gun explosion during gunnery trials on killing 16 people and causing significant damage. The ship was repaired by Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée. In 1898 she was sent to China as part of a squadron commanded by Fyodor Dubasov and took part in suppressing the Boxer Rebellion. She returned to the Baltic in 1902 and sailed with the second Pacific Squadron to Tsushima where she was sunk.

Very nicely molded and has a wingspan of more than 19 inches. For many decades this was the largest aircraft every built and flown and certainly still the largest wooden aircraft. The HK-1 weighed more than 200 tons and had a wingspan of 320 feet. The aircraft did fly once during a 'taxi-test mission' on November 2, 1947 and is on permanent display now. Never started. The small parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the large parts are inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.

Very nice model of this unusual 1930s American Observation aircraft. The O-47 was one of the few American aircraft in operation in the Philippines Combat Zone during the invasion of 1942. Finely cast resin waterline model that includes illustrated directions. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. Yashima was built in Great Britain and participated in the early stages of the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905, including the Battle of Port Arthur on the second day of hostilities. Yashima was active in other operations until she hit two mines off Port Arthur in may of 1904. She did not sink immediately but capsized while being towed later that day. Today there is a beautiful, very large scale model of her in the British National Maritime Museum.
