Rare, early issue from the late 1950s or early '60s. This is an excellent kit with special upholstery material with cut-out patterns printed on the back, a colorful, never opened white, red and black metal tube of AMT Plastic Body Filler Putty, sandpaper, white wall stickers, detailed engine and compartment, opening hood, full interior, opening doors, optional supercharged engine version, detailed suspension and a very large number of custom parts. The kit has never been started. Inventoried with all parts present and and includes decals and photocopied instructions. NOTE: the original instructions are missing.

Hard to find early issue with sandpaper and a never used, colorful metal tube of AMT Body Putty. The stock version features a highly detailed, all-chrome stock Thunderbird V-8 engine, detailed engine compartment, opening hood, full interior and molded detail underside. The custom version includes an engine display stand, rear nacelles, custom back up lights, custom antenna and rear grill/pan, custom skirts, custom front, grill, bumperettes and headlight bezels, interior with extra gauges, tach, floor shifter, seat belt and telephone, custom fender mirrors and more. The radical custom version includes a wild front and lower nose extension, extreme upper and lower rear deck extensions, custom grill, nerf bars and headlight covers, rear nerfs and custom tail lights, front upper and lower scoops, custom fast-back hardtop, continental kit and more. This kit has never been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing (2) custom side pipes & 'upholstery' material. Otherwise complete with all other parts, sandpaper, unopened metal tube of colorful white, black and red AMT body putty, 'excellent' decals and photocopied instructions. NOTE: original instructions are missing. There are minor burn to two custom parts.

1962 issue with colorful pre-war high-visibility paint in the artwork. Please note that this is the first issue of this box art because of the 'Famous Fighters' in the border of the Aurora logo. Box is in 'very good++' condition with nice color and gloss, four solid corners and no sign of price tags or tape. There is light general wear as shown. Kit features retracting pontoons and rotating props. This version has the desirable large clear two-piece 'World' triangle-base stand. Molded in gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Rare first issue from 1956 with the one-year only rectangular Northern Lights logo. Earlier in the 1950s a company called 'Helicopters for Industry' created a line of large-scale early helicopter kits. In 1956 Aurora bought the molds and quickly reissued these models with new box artwork. This model features cockpit, spinning rotors, rotating wheels and opening doors. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear plastic. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Rare kit dated 1956. Please note that is an unusual box art variation that still has the 'Famous Fighters' oval starburst logo. Very nicely detailed kit with 1/8 scale Marine figure with sword and scabbard, optional rifle, detailed cap, display base and US Marines Insignia. Decals are included for rank. Molded in the correct dark blue. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box is graded only 'fair+' due to light fading, light stains, general wear and a closed 1.5" tape tear on the left long side.

1958 dated hardbox that is in exceptional 'Near Mint' condition. It would have graded nearly mint, but there is a '40' in black ink written on the right short side when the kit was marked down to this new price. Molded in silver and clear with full landing gear, display stand and decals for 'FB-419.' The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Around this time, Aurora issued a series of inexpensive (usually 29 cent) small scale kits that were designed to sell at almost any type of retail location. The line was successful and further expanded - when Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they fit in nicely with this established line.

Jo-Han 1956 Plymouth Belvedere Red Clear Tail Lights - Promo - Bagged, 1/25

Includes the two mint condition tail lights as shown. They are molded in red-tinted clear plastic. These are from the original Jo-Han molds but are likely reproductions made in the 1990s. They came with a collection of promo bodies, windshields and chrome parts. I am 99% sure that these parts will also work on the Jo-Han model kit (and not just the promo).

Every few decades an automobile is produced that becomes an world-leading classic in beauty and performance. In the spring of 1934 at the Berlin Auto Show, Mercedes-Benz introduced a new series of high speed touring cars. The engine was the super charged 8 cylinder Mercedes, and the model name was 500K; 500 for the engine's 5 liter displacement and K for "Kompressor" or super charger. One of the three 500k cars was to become an immediate classic -the Singelfingen-Bodied 500K Special Sports Roadster. This model is highly detailed and features over 150 pieces, steerable wheels, removable top, operating rumble seat, removable boot, highly detailed engine and full chassis, double rear-mount spare tires, detailed interior, opening hood, chrome spoked wheels, tonneau cover and more. Molded in tan/yellow (as per the box top), black, clear, a large tree of chrome-plated parts and rubber tires. Never started. Inventoried with all parts and instructions present.
