Production was over 10,000 planes, making if more prolific than any other US Biplane design. Kaydets help to train over 60,000 allied airmen in WWII. Never started. Early hardbox issue from the late 1950s with colorful Ray Gaedke hardbox artwork. The box is in amazing investment grade 'near mint' condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, fading, creases or stains. Light general wear and tape marks on the two longs sides are the only flaw. This is the second issue of this kit for the USA, with added fine rivet detail and molded in silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts decals and instructions. This kit started as a basic 1/48 scale model with full landing gear, rockets and bombs. Surface detail was minimal Lindberg modified it in the mid 1950s with fine raised panel lines and tasteful rivet detail. In the late 1950s, they modified it again to a motorized version with the batteries in the stand and a kit electric motor in the nose. 1975 original issue and not the common reissue. This model was released as a tie-in to the popular science fiction TV show starring Martin Landau and Barbara Bain. Measures 12 inches long when assembled and includes detachable cargo hold. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, #5 - a clip that holds the cargo compartment to the Eagle. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions.

Molded in the correct high-gloss medium olive drab and clear plastic with the clear Revell 'World' Swivel Stand display base. The kit has never been started. Hardbox issue dated 1957, but from the mid 1960s due to the oval logo with the blue outline. Small scale kit with dramatic Jo Kotula box artwork is nicely molded with clear canopy, full landing gear and display stand. This is a model of the very early YF-102 prototype with the straight (non-area rule) fuselage. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Around this time, Aurora issued a series of inexpensive (usually 29 cent) small scale kits that were designed to sell at almost any type of retail location. The line was successful and further expanded - when Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they fit in nicely with this established line.

This is the 1994 reissue of the classic 1955-1959 'S' issue. The original box art was retained for the reissue and it has features the X-3 aircraft, tow truck, tow bar, driver and the famous special clear Revell Swivel Base Display Stand. The T-28D features a very good cockpit, rear canopy that opens and closes, retractable landing gear, wing mounted machine gun packs, napalm canisters and iron bombs, rotating propeller & wheels, instructor, student pilot & mechanic figures. Includes a large decal sheet with stencils and markings for both aircraft. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box displays better than the 'Near Mint-' grade but it is rated as such because there is very light clear tape residue on both long sides.
