Original issue dated 1958 with the 'S' hardbox. Kit features viewable detailed reactor, rotating props, movable rudder and 12 booms, cargo pallets with barrels/sacks/crates that fit into the holds, display stand, foil rippled 'water' for the pool and full decals. Very well molded kit and probably the best of all NS Savannah models. Kit is complete with all parts, decals, pool foil and instructions. Missing the booklet "The Story of Ships", which the box top says is included. NOTE: kit has been started. The two hull halves were glued together. However, so little glue was used that they fell apart - and all but one of the alignment pins is intact. A 1cm x 3mm sliver of the extreme lower starboard bow stayed on the port bow. No other assembly.

Japan issue hardbox with unique boxart. Has decals and paint guide for "Blue Streak" or a very colorful "Formation Ship" painted in a checker-board pattern. When B-24s would reach the end of the road but were still airworthy, they would be painted in very colorful schemes. These special Formation Ships would take off first, and groups would form up on their Formation Ship before departing on a mission. Has many action features: landing gear retracts and extends, control surfaces move, guns elevate and turrets rotate, wheels and props spin, flaps extend/retract, and has optional position side gunner's position (open or closed). Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: three prop blades have broken off but are present. One antenna is green instead of olive drab - it is from a earlier issue of this kit.

Rare kit with well detailed Lemans car. Includes a 60 piece trailer with clear top, sides, front and opening rear doors, colored plastic frame and bed, fenders, chrome lights, detachable loading ramps, trailer hitch, tool box with opening doors, compressor, fire extinguisher, oil cans and gas cans. The car itself features a one piece underbody chassis, detailed Ford 427 CID engine and driveline, optional position rear engine cover with support rods, full interior, very well detailed front and rear suspension, turnable front wheels, full exhaust, oil cooler and fill tube, spare tire and more. Molded in white, chrome, clear, red-tint clear and with real rubber tires. The kit has never been started. The parts that MPC put into internal factory sealed bags are all still sealed. The parts that were never sealed (chrome, race car clear and red tint clear and rubber tires) have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

I have always considered Globe as one of the 'Cadillac' metal kit manufacture for their use of crisply embossed brass and prototype factory paint and markings. Features brass tank, completely painted and marked, cast metal frame, tank ends and domes, steel underframe beam and supports, brass handrails and other brass and steel details, metal trucks with real springs and full instructions/plans. Rare first issue dated 1961. Dramatic John Steel box artwork is printed on a 'textured' box so 'You can Frame This Beautiful Painting'. Kit includes all of the first issue special items - Master Modeler's Stamp, historical booklet 'The Saga of the Confederate Sea Raider C.S.S. Alabama', correct Master Modeler instructions and Confederate flagsheet with the H392 kit number. Large and highly detailed kit. Measures 33 inches long when built. Features pre-formed billowing sails, preformed ratlines, chain and cord for running and standing rigging, 20 crew members, detailed armament, operating propeller hoist and detailed deck fittings. This is the issue with the factory painted copper hull below the waterline. The factory paint is in Exc++ condition with very little wear. The kit is molded in black, dark mahogany, white, wood and off-white vacuform sails. Also includes complete step by step assembly instructions and full rigging instructions/diagrams. The model has never been started. All parts are still factory sealed.

1962 issue with framable box artwork by John Steel. Very nicely detailed like all early Revell sailing ships. Full hull kit with premolded ratlines, decals, flags, rigging material and full rigging instructions. Molded in three colors. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The Stag Hound was designed by the famous Donald McKay and was launched on December 7, 1850. She is famous for her great speed and turned a nice profit for her owners. The most notable event was when the Stag Hound was asked to take a copy of President Lincoln's inaugural address to London. During this run, she raced the steamer 'America' and won easily. Shortly after this she was lost off Brazil to a spontaneous combustion of her coal cargo. The crew successfully abandoned ship. The captain was the last to leave. He lowered the American Flag, wrapped it around himself and jumped overboard.

Classic 1960s kit with fantastic box art in excellent condition. The hardbox has like new color and gloss. There is no tape or price tags and no tape/tag marks. All four corners are solid and there are no repairs or litho damage. The only flaws are light edge and corner wear. Classic large (24" long) SSBN kit actual fires Polaris Missiles from the hull launch tubes. Starboard hull halve hinges down to reveal full interior detail for each compartment. Highly detailed and well molded. The kit has not been started. Inside it is as it left the factory with the small parts are still sealed. The parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes instructions and decals in excellent condition. The Ethan Allen was the lead submarine of her class. These George Washington Class replacements had 16 tubes as before, but could carry the Polaris A-1, A-2 and A-3.

Rare kit from the early 1950s. This kit is in investment-grade 'Mint' condition. The box and contents are as fresh as new and come from a hobby shop closed many years ago. The one-piece flip-top box is a clean as if it came from the factory shipping box. Inside, the kit is as new, with the parts molded in glossy silver and clear plastic, the correct clear Comet 'teardrop' stand, flat decals, as new instructions and the famous Comet catalog ordering envelope. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Comet originally began model production in 1929 with a line of balsa flying models. In the mid-1950s Comet made a beautiful line of small and medium scale aircraft and missile models with colorful boxes. The early issues were in one-piece 'flip-top' boxes, and the later issues and releases were in standard two-piece 'hardboxes' with a lithograph slick glued to the top box. In 1963 Comet sold the plastic kit molds to Aurora, who reissued some but not all of the kits.
