A superb, all metal kit described as "A Deluxe construction kit...all metal, fits, together with glue not solder...Authentic in every small detail...A modeling masterpiece" And indeed, the parts are impressively made - the castings are well detailed, perfectly crisp and clean (no flash). Features roughly 60 parts including real wire wheels (that you make), rubber tires, detailed interior and a rolling chassis build. (The hood does not open, so they did not include and engine). The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. This model was made by Wills Finecast, Forrest Row, Sussex RH18 5HE, England. An included note implies that "Auto-Kit" models were probably made by another company earlier.

The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Heron was the result of a larger and redesigned Dove and first flew in 1950. It's ability to operate from rough fields and ease of maintenance quickly make it a favorite for feeder and independent airlines in the UK and overseas. Heron IIs were also selected by the RAF for the Queens Flight, which is a statement to it's reliability and safety.
