Very highly detailed and finely molded waterline small-scale model of a seldom seen subject. After the signing of the Washington Naval Treaty which limited capital ship construction, Akagi was already building but the treaty dictated that she (and other capital ships) could be scrapped or built as aircraft carriers. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.
