1/72 72135 RS Models Skoda Kauba V5 - (SK V-5)

Resin Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc

Rare kit of an even rarer subject. Excellent quality, high definition resin model with a very good cockpit, perfect condition vacuform canopy (not yellowed) and more. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Skoda-Kauba Flugzeugbau was a Czechoslovakian aircraft manufacturer, formed during World War II as a joint venture between Otto Kauba and the famous Skoda Works. Kauba produced a number of innovative designs and the company built several prototypes. The Skoda-Kauba Sk 257 was a Czechoslovakian-built fighter trainer monoplane built for the Luftwaffe. But even before work on the Sk 257 began, Otto Kauba had begun work on the V5 (this model), a full-fledged fighter to have a 1,750 hp Daimler Benz DB-603 engine. Though it was in direct competition with the Focke-Wulf Ta 152, the RLM was not interested.
