A good model of this attractive aircraft. The Yak-28P variant was a dominate Soviet Homeland supersonic interceptor from 1964 until 1983. The Yak-28PM (this model) was one of several experimental Yak-28P versions. This one was intended to be a modernized 28P with new advanced turbojet engines; but when the advanced engines failed to deliver, the '28PM project died with them. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.
