SALE!! Includes two kits in the one box shown. Kit #1 is never started and inventoried complete with all aircraft parts, including decals and instructions. Missing display stand. NOTE: Kit #2 has 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: small parts #40 & 15 to fuselage half; throttle, control stick and instrument panel to one fuselage half; (1) set of cowl halves and 2 ski halves are assembled; small part #49 to engine front; wing halves assembled with gear doors in the 'retracted' position. There is no other assembly. Inventoried with all aircraft parts, decals and instructions present. Missing display stand. The Wellesley was a single engine bomber first flown in 1935. It is famous for a record setting flight in 1938 from Egypt to Australia. The craft was very advanced for its day, and many features found their way into the next famous Vickers aircraft, the Wellington Bomber.
