1/57 T571 AMT Intrepid - Civil War Balloon with Aeronaut Thaddeus Lowe

Builder only and not collectible; please read carefully as a few small parts are missing. Early issue from about 1975 of this large 1/57 scale kit. Features thread for a realistic simulation of netting, and color 'Intrepid' decal. NOTE: is is not complete. The model is missing 1/2 of the Thaddeus Lowe figure, the #9 small end cap (easily made), the top hanging eyelet (easy substituted), and the jig fixture used to set up the 'X' pattern of the thread (not used in the final model). All other parts are included. With decal and instructions but NOTE: includes only one 'INTREPID' decal. The other one is missing.
