Rare. Original one-and-only issue dated 1958. The box is in 'very good' condition with brilliant color and gloss, four solid corners & no repairs, stains or tears, and no price tags or tape (other than the factory sealing tape, of course). The flaws are edge and corner wear and light general wear, the two small lithograph chips at the very lower right, a light crease at the top left and other light general wear as shown. The model features a loading crane elevates and swivels 360 degrees & is fully rigged with blocks and tackle; a realistic simulation of the entire load-to-launching process can be duplicated with the trailer, truck, crane and launch pad, crew of 4, textured concrete base, missile launch pad, removable Jupiter IRBM and more. Molded in correct white and olive drab. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals are perfectly flat, intact and grade 'excellent+' condition with light age yellow as the only flaw. The instructions are in 'excellent+' condition with slight age yellowing. NOTE: Parts #35, crane corner, is broken in two. Both parts are present and they fit back together perfectly. On two of the crane booms parts, several of the fine braces are broken out. For one, all of the broken parts are present; for another a few tiny braces are broken out and missing. These are straight sections that can be replaced with stock plastic or pulled sprue.

Still factory sealed but the seal has splits at the right side. This model features 'Struct-O-Speed' fully prefabricated construction, all die-cut balsa parts, detailed instructions, propeller and much more; it is one of Comet's better kits. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Incredibly rare and even more so in this condition - never started and complete in a 'very good' box. This is a large scale model of the one of the most famous light planes of all time and part of the very famous ITC motorized action model series. The kit feature true scale appearance, motorized propeller and a gearing system that provides drive on one wheel so the aircraft taxis with the propeller turning. Includes all motorizing hardware, metal shafts, brass switch contacts and battery box contacts, other metal parts, electric motor, gears and more. The kit has never been started. All hardware as well as the electric motor are still in the factory sealed bag. The plastic parts were never factory bagged and have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes decals that are flat, intact and in 'excellent+' condition for the box art aircraft and instruction booklet that is in 'near mint' condition. The box is solid, complete, no repairs excellent color and gloss and has light general wear, edge wear and age foxing on the center and lower right as shown in the photo. Other kits in this famous and valuable motorized action line included the Beechcraft Bonanza, Grumman Goose, ,Sub Chaser, Graf Spee, NS Savannah, many automobiles and others. There were even hand-held Remote Control motorized versions of a few other kits including the Subchaser, Graf Spee, NS Savannah, Ford Model T Pickup, Mercury Sport Convertible, Ford Victoria Hardtop, US Army Personnel Carrier, T-92 Airborne Tank, Soviet Rocket Launcher and Soviet Amphibious Tank. The top-of-the-line Cam-A-Matic series combined motorization with gears & cams to create even more impressive action. The Halibut Sub, B-29, Thor Missile Base and USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier were a few of the kits that made up that line. All are valuable collector's items today.

Very Rare. Nichimo was founded in 1951 and was a very famous Japanese kit manufacturer both at home and around the world. This model dates from the late 1950s or very early 1960s and is part of an extensive and sought-after 1/500 scale IJN Warship Series with expensive glossy box art from the 'Golden Age' of Japanese model kit illustrations. The model can built for motorized operation in water or static with waterline or full hull display. Well detailed and molded for that time, it features all hardware for motorizing, a steel and brass gear box for dual-propeller drive, switch, wire, universal joints, brass batter contacts, metal shafts, an original Mabuchi FA13 still in the original colorful box, one piece lower hull (molded in a realistic IJN 'Hull Red'), one piece upper hull (molded in gray), detailed deck and superstructure, rotating main turrets and separately molded secondary battery and AA guns, catapults, floatplanes and more. Never started. The plastic parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the hardware bag is open and inventoried complete. Includes instructions, silver and gold foil-covered cardboard name plate and internal packing display 'band.' Please note that Nichimo did not supply decals with this issue. Please note that the box would display slightly better than the 'good+' rating, but is graded as such because there is a closed tear at the center of the right short side. It has been very neatly and correct repaired from the inside with light weight cardstock and book binding glue.

In the mid 1960s, the Frog decided to use one box for all of the 'Orange' Series large-scale jet bombers. There are illustrations of the Vulcan and Valiant on the front and the Victor and Canberra on the back. Since the artwork was always the same, the only way to tell what kit was inside was to read the large sicker affixed to the short side panel. This one contains the 1/72 Canberra. Never started. Features over 190 laser cut hardwood (basswood, birch and plywood) parts, over 200 Britannia metal, copper, aluminum, steel, brass and rubber parts and over 50 Britannia metal castings for the Gnome-Rhone Type 9N rotary engine complete with all cylinders, distributor, spark plugs and crankcase. Details other than the engine (which is a kit to itself) include turnbuckles, guy wires, compression bar, pulleys, wire support brackets, struts, flight instruments, tires and much more.
