Still factory sealed but the seal is brittle and has numerous splits. This model is one of a very popular and collectible series that Hubley issue in the 1960s or early '70s It is very well detailed with 143 pieces and features highly detailed cast-metal body, chassis, hood, engine and other detail parts with injection molded details, clear parts, and a large tree of chrome plated parts, full rolling chassis build-up just like the real car with excellent engine detail, removable hood, complete exhaust and suspension, working steering, flexible radiator hoses, rubber tires, chrome spoke wheels, working worm-gear steering, full interior detail with very clear thin windshields and special interior side panels. In the 1930s Packard was the style leader in America and a beautiful, fast status symbol. Packards were not the most expensive, but were the most desired cars. The 1930s Packards are seen as the high point of the brand.

Very rare and the only known kit representing the first US Scout Cruiser. This kit has a beautifully cast resin main hull with a higher detail level than what is possible with injection molds. There are numerous other resin details. Includes full instructions with parts guide and illustrated assembly steps. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes all paperwork. The USS Chester was the United States Navy's first scout cruiser and designated CS-1. She was launched on 26 June 1907 by Bath Iron Works in Maine and sponsored by Miss D. W. Sproul. She was named in honor of the town of Chester, Pennsylvania. She was commissioned on 25 April 1908 and saw a very long and active service. Her designation was soon changed to CL-1 for 'Light Cruiser'. In July 1928 the ships name was changed to USS York, in honor of York, Pennsylvania.

Very rare model from the 1950s of this early British Prop-jet airliner in Jersey Airlines livery; Jersey was the first operator in the World to sue the Herald in scheduled service. Before entering passenger service, the Dart-Herald went on 6 world tours covering 250,000 miles and visited more than 60 countries. Heralds carried 56 passengers or 6.5 tons of freight at a range of 1000 miles and a cruising speed of 275 mph. The kit features separately molded rudder, ailerons and elevators, two position passenger and cargo doors, rotating propellers and wheels, boarding stairs, seated and standing pilots and stewardess. The kit even includes a cork-stopped glass container of gray or silver paint which is still good. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, extensive decals with all stripes and instructions. Decals are the best I have seen and are 'Near Mint+', almost factory new. The instructions are 'near mint' with typical yellowing only. Postal insurance is required for this kit.

Very rare 1950s issue. Features clear turrets and canopy, rotating propellers & wheel, paint guide and decals for Lancaster WPF or VNN. Includes the correct large format display stand and glue capsule. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are in amazing 'excellent++' condition. NOTE: as is typical with these kits, the glue capsule burst and melted one short section of of one lower landing strut. While all four propeller are present, one propeller blade was melted completely away. I have included another early black plastic propeller that has only slightly larger blades; it could be used to fabricate a replacement blade if you wish. The box is 100% complete and solid with four original corners, no tears, missing litho, price tags or tape (other than age marks from the original factory sealing tape). However, it has been darkened as shown.

Rare. Beautiful resin kit with all fine recessed panel lines, full interior, standard or optional pitch prop blades and full decals. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Bell FXL-1 Airabonita was one of three new spec Navy prototype fighters. It competed with the Grumman XF5F-1 and the Vought XF4U-1 Corsair. The Bell offering was made from an Army XP-39 fighter. There were engine and undercarriage problems during trials, as well as handling issues. Bell modified the aircraft (that is another Planet Models issue whichy is called "late modification") in many ways, but it was still no match for the Corsair, which won the competition.

Very rare original issue from late 1962/1963. This issue has more than double the number of pieces of the 1970s issue. This model features parts to build any one of the three versions listed, full interior, opening hood, detailed engine, engine compartment with firewall, battery, radiator and washer jar and molded underside detail. Molded in gloss light tan, chrome plate, clear, red tinted clear and with rubber white sidewall tires, metal axles and metal body screws. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried with all car parts 100% complete and photocopied instructions. NOTE: missing decals and the original instructions. These photocopied instructions are from a photo and not the originals. The source photos were only 'fair', which means that you can inventory and assemble the kit with them but they are not good for anything else. The box displays only 'fair' because of bug damage to the lithograph.

Hard-to-find issue with a 1957 date. It is even rarer in this condition, which is with an 'excellent' box, never started and still factory sealed inside. This is part of Aurora's very famous 1/8 scale figure kits. This one includes a base with a map of Holland and Dutch Box with hat, wooden clogs and skates. Molded in a very light flesh-like color. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the factory sealed clear internal bag. Includes instructions in 'near mint' condition.

Dated 1979 and a well detailed and finely molded model. Features 129 pieces, complete cockpit and full interior with floor and benches, optional position boarding doors and stairs and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Horsas were perhaps the most advanced gliders built during WWII. They had full instrumentation, power operated flaps and brakes, a powered device for jettisoning the landing gear upon touchdown. The Horsa MkI carrier troops while the MkII carried vehicles which loaded through the swing nose and unloaded from an explosively-released rear fuselage after landing. Gliders carried in 20% of the reinforcements and supplies for D-Day, and most were Horsas. They also saw action against the German Heavy Water (Atomic Bomb) plants in Norway and targets in Sicily, Arnhem and the Rhine.
