The Zuikaku was one of two Shokaku class aircraft carriers and among the finest of their type in the world when launched. Both Shokakus took parts in the Pearl Harbor attack and lead very active service lives in WWII. Zuikaku was the last of the 6 Pearl Harbor attackers to be sunk.
