NOTE: bagged kit; there is no box. The box is shown for reference only. The YF-22 and the YF-23 were the two fighter designs chosen to compete to replace the F-15 Eagle. At the time this kit was produced, the winner was not known. At this time, we now know that the F-22 is the contract winner. This is a highly detailed model. Superbly molded with all very fine recessed panel lines and features detailed cockpit, detailed gear wells, optional position canopy and more. Includes decals for Prototypes #1 and #2. Never started. The small parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the large parts are inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.
