Rare original issue; not the recent reissue. Even rarer in this condition. The most amazing part about this example is that it is 100% complete, right down to the never-used, colorful tube of AMT Plastic Filler Body Putty and sandpaper. The kit features all parts needed to build one of three versions - detailed stock 283 engine, complete 409 CID 'W' head blower or carburetter engine, engine stand, full stock interior, custom interior with bucket seats, roll bar, custom wheel and gear shift, telephone with bracket and stuff alligator, optional stock hubcaps, mag wheels or custom bladed cap, standard tires or racing slicks, chassis with separately molded rear differential, shock absorbers, traction masters, front A arms and front lower suspension unit, detailed engine compartment with opening hood and stock or custom '57 Buick grill. Furthermore, the "Minor Stylizing" section of the instructions shows more included features such as whip antenna, spotlights, fender mirrors, three piece car show trophy, custom front pan, clear tube grill with Corvette type vertical grill, scoop aerials and roof scoops, horizontal tail fins, rear roll pan, nerf bars and bubble fender skirts. The more radical 'Top Chopping' and major 'Stylizing Options A and B' display how to chop the top and use the included clear lowered 'bubble top,' a wild front end extension with Lincoln-style custom headlights, extended hood and 'pancake hood' insert, wild deck body extension with custom bullets, rear grill and tail lights and more. The kit is molded in white, clear, red-tint clear, two trees of chrome parts and rubber tires. It has never been started and has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, factory sandpaper, AMT Body Putty, white wall stock tires and drag slicks, large custom/racing decal sheet (in amazing 'near mint' condition) and complete instructions.

Dated 1968 and can be built as a standard B-25B or includes conversion parts for a Doolittle Tokyo Raider. Features movable and retractable lower turret (or cover for raider), three crew, detailed engines with removable cowling, rotating props and wheels and optional position bomb bay doors and bomb load. There is no assembly but NOTE: the cockpit floor has been airbrushed the correct interior green to 'professional' standards. There is a tiny bit of glue on the instrument panel where it would stick on the floor, but it has never been installed. Inventoried complete with all plastic parts and instructions present; NOTE the decal sheet is only "good" and also missing a narrow strip 3/16" thick down the right side.

Second issue dated 1957. Please note that on this issue, it still says 'Famous Fighters Of All Nations' but the rectangular Aurora Line logo has been 'yellowed' out and the new Famous Fighters oval and sunburst logo added. Big near-1/48 scale model is molded in silver and clear. Aurora's research showed that the very young plastic model kit market might support much larger, expensive kits with improved margins; the B-26, B-25 and B-29 were issued their success insured they would remain in production almost to the end. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, one clear side window. Otherwise complete with all other parts, decals, instructions and clear triangle Aurora 'World' stand. Please note that this box displays much better than the 'very good++' rating. It is rated as such because there a few small areas of bug damage to the litho on the side panels and some edge wear at the top right.

This is a rare kit of this historic automobile from when France clearly lead the automotive world in technology and quality. This happened largely because the French people, government and authorities embraced the horseless carriage; this was the opposite of what happened in most countries, especially Great Britain where they regulated it almost completely out of existence.
