Rare 1st issue small hardbox from 1952 in 'excellent ++' condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, light wear as shown, circle logo and Ray Gaedke artwork. At first glance this box appears too small for this model- but it does fit. Molded in the correct early light gloss gray and clear. There are panel lines but very minimal rivet detail; later issues had heavy rivet detail added. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. This kit started as a basic 1/48 scale model with full landing gear, rockets and bombs. Surface detail was minimal Lindberg modified it in the mid 1950s with extensive rivet detail. in the late 1950s, they modified it again to a motorized version with the batteries in the stand and a kit electric motor in the nose. Fantastic 1950s kit in investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. The carving is done to the final shape. When complete it makes an impressive desk top display. Features all high-quality hardwood main parts, clear plastic canopy, full color decals, glue, wood filler, sandpaper and special display stand. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts and plans. Before plastic kits were introduced, Strombecker was famous as the premier hardwood preshaped model manufacturer. In the 1940s and 1950s, Strombecker kits were flawlessly engineered but not inexpensive. All wooden parts are hardwood and are precarved to shape - you only had to glue, sand and paint to finish them.

The Sniffer is and early Post War model designed for the new OK Cub or Anderson Spitfire small glow engines. It is reported that the name came from it's thermal sniffing qualities which it still exhibits today. The BMJR Sniffer is true to the original form but has been engineered to take advantage of today's laser technology. With a 30" span and 139 square inches of wing area, the design is the perfect size for the PeeWee .020 engine and legal for early nostalgia competition and the special PeeWee 30 event. However, It is best flown just-for-fun.

Rare. Original one-and-only issue dated 1958. The box is in investment-grade 'Near Mint-' condition. It has like-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no creases, stains or tears, and no price tags or tape (other than the factory sealing tape, of course). The only flaws are very light edge wear and corner wear to the lower left corner as shown. Has many action features including loading crane elevates and swivels 360 degrees & is fully rigged with blocks and tackle and the entire load-to-launching process can be duplicated with the trailer, truck, crane and launch pad. Includes a crew of 4, textured concrete base and missile launch pad. Molded in correct white and olive drab. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals are perfectly flat, intact and grade 'excellent++' condition with light age yellow as the only flaw. The instructions are in 'excellent+++' condition with slight age yellowing.

Flaws include general wear, like at the top left and lower edge. Kit features portable launch pad, mobile radar van, testing unit and three man crew. It is molded in the correct gloss white plastic. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Instructions and decals are both in remarkable 'near mint' condition with light age yellowing as the only flaws.
