2nd issue of this kit dated 1967. Highly detailed for that time and from the same molds as the 1961 'Four Star' issue. Has many action features: when you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals, sliding canopy and instructions for rigging. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

First and only issue from 1958 with 'S' box art. Little John was a light-weight free-flight rocket that was highly mobile. It could be pulled on it's launcher or transported by helicopter. Length was 12 feet long and the warhead was atomic. The Dart was a very early wire guided anti-tank missile with a solid propellant rocket motor. It was five feet long. An optical rangefinder was used for guidance. The models these are well detailed. The Dart includes four missiles, one launcher, three stands, decals, one optical guidance unit and a crew of three. The Little John includes a detailed launcher with elevating rails, movable support legs, decals and crew of three. The Little John has never been started. It is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present but NOTE: several parts are a darker shade of green plastic than the others. The Dart is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present but NOTE: this kit has been started. One Dart missile has been very neatly built and partially painted (rather sloppily). There is no other painting.

1970 issue. Large detailed model measures 28.5 inches long and 25 inches high when assembled. Features detailed hull, complete deck fittings, pin rails, guns with separate carriages, ships boat with oars, preformed rat lines, four types of rigging blocks, crew of 20, all rigging lines, a colorful flag sheet, painting details, complete instructions and separate, well-detailed rigging diagrams. Includes vacuformed billowing sails with factory-printed colorful designs on them as per the box artwork. Sails are in average condition- not mint. The designs are excellent but they have the usual buckling and corner cracks. Molded in dark wood brown, light wood brown (butterscotch), black and white plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried with all plastic parts included and all paperwork present. NOTE: one color paper 'shield' is missing; easily made by photocopying the present ones. NOTE: one 'mast top' (like a round crows nest) is neatly split in two. The parts fit back together perfectly for a very simple repair.

Still factory sealed. This is the first issue of this classic kit. Dated 1970 and considered the highest quality kit available of the Apollo 11 moon landing scene. Rare early issue includes the 1970 color booklet "First Lunar Landing", LEM, moon base, solar wind detector, seismometer, flag, astronauts, laser reflector, stereo camera and TV Camera. As this is the first issue, it contains some items not included in later issues. It has a gray molded base with factory airbrushed black shadows, yellow tinted die-cut windows and gold foil. The booklet is an excellent detailing guide for the kit as there are many color photos of the LEM and equipment.
