From the early 1970s Large scale issue for rubber or gas free flight, or easily converted to RC using today's tiny and light servos and receivers. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction, quality balsa printwood, stripwood and spars, balsa stock as required, fully formed wood main and tail wheels, rubber motor, plastic prop and scale (you-build-it) balsa three-blade wooden prop, wood thrust button, clear canopy material, template/details cardstock sheet, insignia, dark blue and white covering tissue and detailed full size plans with building instructions. Never started and inventoried 100% complete. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Well molded and features good cockpit detail, pilot and navigator/gunner figures, two anti-tank cannon, 4-section windshield and decals for the tank-killing ace Major Ulrich Rudel, who destroyed over 500 tanks from his Stuka. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the propeller has one broken blade that is missing; the decals are flat and intact but are heavily age micro-cracked.

Very Rare and even more so in the condition. This is the seldom seen true second issue of this kit from 1955 and is harder to find than the first issue because it was quickly pulled and replaced with the 'Iron Cross' on the tail. Aurora quickly discovered that they could not sell the kit in much of Europe due to a ban on the offense swastika, so they made a quick box art and decal change. This the box is larger than the first issue, has the colorful 'Northern Lights' rectangle logo on the right side, new text size and arrangement and the swastika on the tail. The box grades 'Excellent++' and has factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs, no fading, rips or tears, no missing litho, no price tags or tape and no marks from either (other than the factory sealing tape, of course). Flaws include a light crease at the far right as shown and some light scuffs on the side panels. Inside, the kit is 100% correct; it is molded in the correct gloss black and clear plastic with the early rectangular clear stand, correct decal sheet with the swastika and the correct early logo instructions showing this stand. It even includes the original factory tissue paper and a very colorful early logo add for the Aurora Plastic Wall Bracket Display. The decals and instructions are both in amazing 'Near Mint+' condition. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Superbly molded and features optional turret or turret cover for two different versions, main injection molded parts, recessed panel lines, many high-definition resin parts including two engine kits, very good cockpit, enclosed gear wells and more. The kit has never been started. The resin and PE parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag; all other parts are inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions. The CR-25 was a clean twin engine design originally intended as a heavy fighter. Only nine fighters and one transport version were built. The fighters excelled in long range reconnaissance rolls and escorting convoys. They served until Italy's capitulation. The sole transport was used as a personal aircraft for the Italian Military Representative in Berlin.

Includes full color SAS markings. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: 85% of the lower long side panel is missing. The box top is held together by the large piece of tape as shown, hence the 'fair' box grade. While the box is not collectible, the kit inside is almost like new.
