Still factory sealed. Great builder kit dated 1991 and made from the original Aurora molds. In 1977 Monogram purchased the Aurora molds and only reissued the best and most commercially viable models. This monster and others were issued in the early 1990s, probably after re-negotiating the license agreement with Universal (as hinted to on the box side). Molded in a stunning glow-in-the-dark plastic and also glows in a black light.

Highly detailed vac kit with better mold quality than most injection molded kits. Includes cast metal details and decals. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The SR.177 was a further development of the SR.53. The SR177 combined rocket with turbine power. The 177 had a jet engine of significantly more power than the 53, so it could cruise without use of the rocket motor. The interceptor was to be armed with two Firestreak missiles. Although British air policy changed, the work continued due to German interest in the project. However, the program was dropped when Germany went with the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter.

Designed for electric motor operation with realistic sprocket drive on flexible tracks and includes all motorizing hardware, metal gear box with nylon gears and brass shafts. Features full hoist as shown on the box art that can be stowed for travel or deployed for work, opening hatches, three positionable crew members, one infantry solider and more. Never started. The actual tank and drive system have been inventoried complete but NOTE: missing display base. Includes decals and instructions. The box displays better than the 'good' grade but is rated as such because there are closed tears on the left short side panel and a small (1 cm x 1cm) section of the box missing on that same panel. Please note that Bandai did not include the RE-26 motor in this issue, but they are widely available on line and now called RE-260.

Still factory sealed and very rare in this condition. First issue hardbox dated 1966. The factory seal is complete but there is a 3" split on the back. The model displays better than the 'sealed excellent+' grade but is rated as such because the bottom box ('tray') is concave (pressed inward) about 1/2" at the right lower corner and side. This can only be seen if you turn the box over. Please note that this model must be shipped insured.

Scale flying wooden rubber powered model from the early 1950s. Before there were plastic models, there were wooden aircraft kits. These usually came in two types - solid and stick and tissue. The solid models were static and usually contained a few blocks of balsa and sometimes a detail part or two. These "Make Wood Look Like Plane" models required a very high level of skill in carving and finishing. The stick and tissue variety were slightly easier to build and provided the ultimate thrill - they could fly when complete with rubber power (and later with free-flight gas and eventually RC). They still required a great deal of skill, so manufacturers sought ways to make model building more accessible to everyone. One idea was pre-carving and/or prefabrication. This raised prices, naturally. Many manufacturers launched lines of 'easy' to build flying models but only Monogram succeeded in making an entire line at an affordable price that would actual fly. The original "Speedee-Bilt" kits were in one-piece two-color boxes. In the early 1950s, shortly before plastic kits were available, Monogram changed to the 'hardbox' with a lithographic slick glued to the top, as this F6F kit. Speedee-Bilt kits contained die cut, factory painted wooden parts, completely formed airfoil wings (the famous and beautiful 'Monofoil'), carved wheels and numerous plastic details like the cowling, pilot, missiles, prop and more, depending on the kit. Assembly was by detailed, illustrated plans. The F6F features die-cut blue painted balsa parts, a perfect Monofoil wing, carved fuselage block, stringers and dowels as required, completely finished wheels and metal hardware, plastic cowling/engine face, plastic propeller and pilot bust, clear vacuform canopy (still in mint condition, clear and not yellowed), rubber motor, sandpaper, full color decals, covering material and full instructions. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and paperwork present.
