On April 9, 1935, this magnificent custom built automobile was delivered to Rudolph Carracciola, the Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix team driver. Rudy, with an impressive win record of 23 wins and 23 second places, had chosen this vehicle for his own personal transportation. Powered by the supercharged 5 liter engine, the large and heavy vehicle was an excellent performer and one of the finest cars of the 1930s. The model itself is from the late 60s/early 1970s and it is highly detailed for that time. Features over 150 parts, rolling chassis build-up just like the real car, steerable wheels, removable boot, highly detailed engine and full chassis, double spare tires, detailed interior, opening hood and chrome spoke wheels. The model is molded in brilliant gloss dark maroon, black, clear and a large tree of chrome-plated parts and rubber tires. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. Please note that it is graded 'good-' because it has light stains on the box top as shown.

This model has very good molded detail from the wicker sides to the crest on the rear seat top. It features over 160 parts and is very nicely molded. Features super-detailed V-16 engine, steerable wheels, 2 side mount tires, partition glass, Chauffeur's Top, opening hood, spoke wheels, rubber tires with white sidewall inserts, super detailed rolling chassis, full interior and optional "Pilot Ray" accessory lights. Features a Jetex-100 Jet Engine that is still in the factory sealed box, die-cut balsa parts for fuselage and rotor assemblies, covering material, landing gear material, formed steel self-adjusting rotor hinges, engine mounting clips, full-scale drawings, detailed instructions and more. Very nicely molded with all very fine recessed panel lines and features a highly detailed interior, engine, crew, choice of four load-out options and decals for four aircraft and painting guide. Markings are included for Fuchida's Pearl Harbor aircraft from Zuikaku (bomb load), Shokaku (many smaller bombs), Zuiho (Torpedo load) or a radar equipped aircraft from the 931 Air Squadron. The kit is intended to be motorized with the Mabuchi Baby motor and has full instructions for such, but the motor itself was not furnished by Nichimo. Never started. All parts are either still in the factory sealed bags or they have been inventoried complete with all parts. Includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed but the seal has drawn the box top concave. The only correct early production 1/48 Dagger Kit. Original early Daggers came with the 'Case X' wing which had upturned and squared off tips. Later aircraft, starting with serial # 56-1317, had the Case XX wing. The -Twenty wing has a rounded, turned down tip with larger elevons that are angled with the tip. Markings for two aircraft are included: 509th Fighter Interceptor Sq based at Clark, Philippines. This aircraft depicted was deployed to South East Asia to Tan Son Nhut in South Vietnam. The second aircraft is from Connecticut AG 118th.

The Wellesley was a single engine bomber first flown in 1935. It is famous for a record setting flight in 1938 from Egypt to Australia. The craft was very advanced for its day, and many features found their way into the next famous Vickers aircraft, the Wellington Bomber. Nicely molded kit with all recessed panel lines. Includes decals for 201 through 205. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions. The fantastic all-Canadian replacement for the CF-100 that was canceled immediately before the first production airframes left the assembly line. The prototypes had flown a great number of hours and the airplane was a great success. The cancellation of the project is in some ways still a mystery today in some aviation circles.

Easily repaired; fits back together perfectly and the joint will be hidden by the gun.
