Kit features fine, all recessed panel line detail, many photoetched parts and decals for four aircraft. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. During construction of the NiK1 Kyofu (Strong Wind) float plane, the design team at Kawanishi did a study of converting that aircraft to a land-based fighter. The design seemed very promising, but the Japanese Navy rejected it. Kawanishi decided to privately fund the building of prototypes regardless. The aircraft flew and flew well, but the navy was unimpressed as they ordered the J2M Raiden into production. Kawanishi, undaunted, built four additional prototypes. The IJN was finally won over, and funds were released to produce the fighter. Production problems were solved in time for the Shiden (Violet Lightning) to see action before the end of the war, but not in significant numbers to change the tide. The Shiden was an excellent aircraft, but a modified version, NiK2-J may have been the finest Japanese Naval fighters of the war.

This superb Pro Modeler issue of the 'N' Thunderbolt is dated 1997. It is a new model and a completely different kit from the old Monogram P-47. Features all fine recessed panel lines, excellent cockpit, pilot figure, optional position canopy, detailed gear wells and full engine, clear wingtip navigation lights, a nice selection of weapons including drop tanks, bombs and rockets and very colorful decals for the two aircraft listed. Inventoried and NOTE: missing the following parts: horn, one small bogie and one bogie cap. Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes decals, instructions and battle field display base.

This aircraft has "TIGER FLEET" in large letters on the fuselage as well as a large nose art painting just behind the fuselage. But on these kits he cut the sprue (trees) with the part numbers still attached to each number, so the parts are loose. Because of that, I have not inventoried these kits. NOTE: he built sub assemblies (cockpit tubs, wing halves, etc) to 'professional' quality. He also almost always removed the display stands (if provided). Again, these kits are sold not inventoried and AS IS hence the very low price.

Rare 1950s Cellovision issue with fantastic Ray Gaedke artwork. Hard-to-find large model of this invasion craft measures roughly 20 inches long when assembled. Engineered and motorized for operation in water; includes the electric motor and has plenty of room inside for conversion to R/C operation (R/C equipment not included). The model features operating cranes, complete deck fittings, detailed superstructure, numerous LCVP craft with separately molded loading ramps and more. Never started and inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, instructions and motorizing parts present. The box displays slightly better than the 'good' grade but is rated as such because the right end (the end that was opened) is tattered and missing part of the end flaps.
