Rare 1930s/40s model of the world's most successful passenger-carrying rigid airship. Features standard stick-and-tissue construction, printed balsa bulkheads, pre-cut keel and stringer stock, thick balsa sheet for the four fins, balsa blocks for the nose, engine, gondola & rear cone, covering tissue, full size plans which include building instructions. Never started. The parts have been inventoried 100% complete. If you wish to build this double sized, use a copier to enlarge the instructions and bulkheads 2X. Then supply your own balsa wood, tissue and balsa blocks. I have seen an add for this model in very old Model Airplane News magazines. C&S made quite a line of ridged airships including the Los Angeles (in two lengths), Graf Zeppelin (in two sizes), Hindenburg, a US Navy Metal Clad Blimp and perhaps others. The C&S boxes were thin cardboard and are almost always beat up and missing sections; this one is no exception.

Dated 1958 but the 50 cent price suffix and logo make it from the mid 1960s. This is a nice, small-scale kit that features a clear canopy, complete landing gear, display stand and decals for 'FB-419.' Molded in gloss silver and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. Hardbox issue dated 1957, but from the mid 1960s due to the oval logo with the blue outline. Small scale kit with dramatic Jo Kotula box artwork is nicely molded with clear canopy, full landing gear and display stand. This is a model of the very early YF-102 prototype with the straight (non-area rule) fuselage. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. In the late 1950s Aurora began issuing a series of inexpensive (usually starting at 29 cent) small scale kits that were designed to sell at almost any type of retail location. The line was successful and further expanded into the early 1960s. When Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they fit nicely into this established line.

Hard to find 1/48 scale armor kit. John Steel hard-box art is dated 1964. The box has very good color and gloss, no tape or price tag marks and four solid corners. Light, general and even wear are the only flaws. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: the treads are intact and 'near mint' but there are tread burns on the inside of one side panel (not visible when built), inside of the lower hull panel (again, not seen when built) and on the gun barrel. The barrel is all there but significantly damaged by the burns. The decal backing paper has bug damage but the actual transfers are intact.
