Nicely molded steam engine from the 1970s or 80s. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. KeilKraft was produced by the E. Keil & Company, Limited of Wickford, Essex Great Britain. Keil specialized in stick and tissue scale flying models and gliders. However, they moved into injection molded kits after WWII. Four aircraft kits were planned but only two were released. This Hurricane was the first one, followed by F2, a Sopwith Camel. The Stuka and Chipmunk were never issued. The vehicle line was more extensive, with at least part of the line consisting of Type T Coach, Road Roller, Traction Engine, Steam Wagon, Ploughing Engine and West Ham Tram.

1954 issue of this classic kit. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear and with the famous clear 'Revelving Swivel Base.' The kit has never been started and inside it is exactly as it left the factory. The small parts are still in the factory sealed clear bag; the larger parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions; both are in amazing 'near mint+' condition. This kit has an interesting history. The first issue came out in the 'short' hardbox that had the full version of this artwork with a port and ocean scene in the background. The first version also had the one-piece stand arm and the instructions that reflected that. The second issue had the same artwork, but with a completely different background that gave better contrast. There may be a 'one-piece' stand arm version in this revised artwork, but I have yet to see one.
