Hard to find first issue from 1969. Mold quality is excellent as is typical with the first issue. (Molds become worn as reissued are made and detail becomes less crisp and flash appears.) This is the finest large scale injection molded kit of the legendary workhorse. Model actually comes apart and each sequence configuration of the Apollo Mission can be demonstrated with this model: Lift Off, 2nd stage, 3rd stage, separation, docking, lunar orbit, lunar module separation, lunar descent, lunar exploration, lunar lift-off, docking, starting for earth, separation, and reentry/recovery. The Gemini Astronaut is 12 inches long. He is fully equipped and comes with a Gemini capsule display base. Never started. Inside, all kits are still in factory sealed bags. No glue or paint.
