She took part in the defense of Tobruk without damage, but when Tobruk fell in 1941, she was scuttled by her crew. Never started. Blue Box reissue of the 'Four Star' kit. Ideal builder kit. Model is unstarted and complete with all four Tigers (molded in blue) and the special clear display stand. Instructions are photocopied. Has new decals. The decals are not photocopies but brand new digitally mastered decals printed at 1200 dpi on Bel Decal paper. The decals are a significant improvement on the originals and have the correct yellow-gold color of the old Blue Angels trim.

In the days before computers, armchair strategist matched wits over some of the most complicated board games ever invented. SPI (Simulations Publications Inc) and Avalon Hill were just a few of the famous names. The games consists of detailed hexagon maps, cardboard 'chits' or representations of men and/or materials and thick set of rules to govern movement, line of sight, supply lines, weather, attack and the uncertainty of untried units and moral. This kit is complete and looks to have been used perhaps once if at all. The parts have been punched out of the original cardboard retainer and placed in the black plastic trays with clear covers. All parts are in exceptional condition.

Contains 207 parts. Very nicely detailed. Features crew of three, detailed cockpit, elevating and traversing rear turret, opening and closing bomb bay doors, operating wing flaps, operating spoilers, optional position entry hatch and landing gear, and optional parts to display one nacelle open to show the jet engine. Still factory sealed but the seal has drawn the box concave.
