This large scale model dated 1987 and is from the original 1950s molds. Features fine raised surface detail, counter-rotating propellers, pilot figure and boarding ladder. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Convair VTO was a Navy program for a high performance zero-length take off fighter. The aircraft flew well but transition from vertical/horizontal and back was tricky. This, combined with the performance of the new jets signaled the end of the program in 1955.

This model one of the very popular 1960s Airfix bagged kit line with a colorful paper header, great artwork and Type 3 logo. It is very well detailed and molded for that time. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions present. The Auster 6 Antarctic was a specially modified aircraft supplied to the Antarctic expedition. It has additional fuel capacity and more elaborate radio and DF equipment. The Auster was first introduced during WWII as an artillery observation and liaison aircraft. Since that time it was progressively developed for both military and civil use. The ability for short field operation and use with wheels, skis or floats made it very popular at the time.

Still the only 1/72 scale injection-molded H-1 Messerschmitt model made. This aircraft was equipped with the powerful DB605 engine and longer wings for high-altitude work. Both prototypes were destroyed in an Allied bombing raid but a number of pre-production aircraft were completed and saw limited service as H-1s. These underwent flight trials in Guyancourt, France and then flew reconnaissance flights over Great Britain at 40,000 feet; one is thought to have shot down a Lancaster. Fetaures fine recessed panel lines, high-definition cast resin parts including a full cockpit and more, numerous PE parts, film instruments, choice of two different canopies, fully enclosed and detailed gear bays and more. Includes paint guide and decals for two different aircraft: Guyancourt France 1944 and V-54 W.Nr. 15708 Augsburg 5th of November to 22 January 1944 which was flown by pilots Wndel, Baur, Schmid and Lukas. The Sea Dart was a supersonic design that could take off and land from water using retractable hydro-skis. Five prototypes were built and over 300 test flights made. The advent of the super carrier spelled the end of the Sea Dart, although 4 still exist on display today.
