The large scale issue from 1967 with Gemini Capsule stand and Maneuvering Unit. 100% complete and unglued with all parts, decals and instructions. There is minor paint: someone painted the straps on the torso blue and the face flesh. You can simply paint over it or remove it with a soaking in DOT 3 Brake Fluid. No other paint. Ideal builder.

Rare kit in the original and only issue 1961 hardbox. This kit was hurried into production after Shepard's First US Manned Space flight on May 5, 1961. Revell took the original Redstone kit, modified the molds to match Shepard's craft, modified the decal sheet and created the 'Newsprint' box. Contains Redstone Booster, Mercury Capsule, Launch Pad, Testing Unit, Escape Rockets and 3 man crew. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Original hardbox is solid but only fair due to wear and tape as shown.

The Revenge was an Elizabethan Galleon launched in 1577. Revenge had 46 guns and was 92 feet long. She was part of Sir Francis Drake's fleet of 80 ships that defeated the Armada. In 1661 the Revenge was attacked by a fleet of 16 Spanish Galleons. She sank two and disabled two of her enemy before being forced to surrender. Three days later she was sunk in a storm while returning to Spain as a war prize. Still factory sealed. Hull is about 7 inches long.

Rare kit in large scale of the world's first jet airliner. The initial Comet Is were in operation long before the 707, which gave the British an incredible post-war lead in the expanding civil aviation market. Just as the Comet was flying high and orders were pouring in from around the world, Comets began to mysteriously fall out of the sky. Everything from lighting to terrorist bombs were blamed. For months the root cause went undiscovered. Then, in a landmark investigation that is considered the first modern post-crash autopsy, it was discovered that the stresses around a small ADF window on the top of the fuselage were causing metal fatigue failure when the fuselage was pressurized. To confirm this, a Comet I was placed in a water tank and subjected to pressurization stresses. After some time, a dramatic failure occured. Then parts of a crashed Comet were pulled from underwater proving once and for all that this was the root cause. Never started.
