From Heller molds. The Amiot 143 design was first flown in 1934 and was ordered into series production with the first deliveries in August of 1935. A very capable aircraft for it's day, it was obsolete but still in service with 5 bombing groups when WWII broke out. Brave aircrews attacked not only night targets in Germany proper but made daylight raids on bridges at the Sedan during the Blitz. Never started. Large kit of a beautiful subject. Large scale model has much prefabrication to speed assembly. Features full length cut sides, full width, die cut tail surfaces, shaped and hollowed upper and lower cowls, custom shaped maple motor mount and center spar, full length spruce wing spars, clear blown canopy, all hardware, plastic cowl cheeks and wheel pants, stamped spring aluminum landing gear and more. Note: this kit is not in it's original box. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. It is like factory-new inside and has not been started. Complete with all parts, plans and decals (if originally included). NOTE: this kit was re-packed in a rugged and sturdy box. The model will be shipped with this box only (no external box) unless you request otherwise.

Nicely molded and detailed kit. Features opening and closing clamshell nose cargo doors, good cockpit detail, crew of two, moving ailerons, elevator and rudder and front loading ramp. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.Superfreighter was an improved version of the Bristol Freighter. It was designed in 1952 and entered service in 1953 with Silver City Airways. Superfreighter's ease of maintenance, rugged design and ability to carry large loads made it immediately successful with the RAF and eight other air forces around the worlds, as well as with several airlines. Channel Air Bridge even operated a car ferry service across the channel.

This kit is from quality Airfix molds and is one of the MPC issues with custom decals and the unique clear modular display stand. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: decals have some lifting.
