Rare. From the 1940s. CZ carried a nice line of solid scale models from the 'Golden Age' of aircraft modeling. This kit may have been the flagship of their kit line. It is a very large 1/64 scale kit with a 22 inch wingspan. The nacelles are completely precarved in three dimensions and the fuselage and wings are rough cut in three dimensions. The horizontal and vertical stabilizers have been profile (2-D) precut to make finishing much easier. Engines and engine cowlings are cast in a type of resin or chalk - a very early example of 'super detailing' in the pre-plastic era. There is a factory sealed bag of small parts, a silver-printed cardstock sheet with many details, sandpaper, American Airlines markings and cockpit/cabin windows and full size plans with a instructions sheet. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including designs/windows and instructions.

This is possibly the best molded and detailed Forrestal kit done in a constant scale. Beautifully molded hull can be built as waterline or full hull. Plenty of very tiny and finely molded parts. Rare kit from this French manufacture. The kit was issued with two complete kits inside; this contains both kits which are still factory sealed. The Eole is thought to be among the first aircraft to achieved powered flight but did not have a method of control. Features 53 parts, rigging material and beautiful blue fabric for realistic covering. Never started. Factory sealed parts bag with blue fabric, rigging material, templates and instructions. The box is only graded 'Good' with significant wear as shown.

Includes decals for both air forces, parts for both 'J' and 'L' variants and drop tanks + rockets. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
