Rare early ship kit from 1952. Very nicely detailed and molded, especially for that era. Includes sails, molded base and clear sheet plastic with the ratlines printed on them to simplify assembly. The box sides illustrates and names the 10 kits of this line. All were available in regular (such as this kit) or 'Ship In A Bottle' versions. This kit has never been started and is still sealed in the original 'krinkle' bag. It appears that Gowland & Gowland has not received the credit that it deserves in the plastic kit revolution that took America by storm in the early 1950s. Gowland developed the first all plastic car made in the USA in 1950, the 1911 Maxwell. Even more interesting is that Kevin and Jack Gowland developed the 'Highway Pioneers' in 1951 which heralded the future for the American Hobby Industry. The reason that Gowland's name is not in the fore-front of model history is that Precision Specialties (later Revell) did the distribution for Gowland.

Hard to find 1969 release. This is the 1959 "Four Star" Missile Arsenal Kit updated in 1969 by adding some missiles (such as the Spartan and Sprint ABMs) and deleting older ones. Also includes the updated 'Know Your Missiles' foldout with photos and descriptions of each missile. NOTE: the kit has assembly. The Redstone has been nicely built; the Jupiter has been built with fair quality; the Corporal has been nicely built, as well as the Sergeant. The Titan has been painted but not assembled. Inventoried complete with all parts. Complete with instructions, booklet, decals and blue molded display base.

Rare very early Japanese kit from the famous kit manufacture Marusan. The box is has the high gloss box top and in excellent condition with no tape, price tags or writing. Inside the kit is factory new. All parts, decals and factory tube of Marusan cement are all still factory bag sealed. The kit is nicely molded with raised details. The Marusan F-86D model is known for an amazing array of action features and accessories, and the UPC reissue includes them all. Kit has removable radome to display the radar, opening canopy, removable tail section with dolly and detailed jet engine with engine stand, operating leading edge slats, operating wing flaps, moving control surfaces, retracting landing gear, retracting/extending missile tray, boarding ladder, and extra missiles with missile cart.
