Roughly late 1950/60s scale stick and tissue rubber powered flying model. Includes die cut balsa parts, vacuform nose, wheels, plastic propeller, colored tissue, and full size plans with detailed building instructions. The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Guillow's founder, Paul K. Guillow, was a WWI naval aviator. In 1926 he began producing wooden model airplane kits. His 'Shelf Models' were some of the earlier non-flying models in production. Guillow's grew during the model boom of the 1930s, and when the Depression hit the hardest, Guillow's responded with lower prices and became one of the low price leaders, frequently advertising in Model Airplane News and other leading publications. During the war, like most manufacturers, Guillow's was forced to alternative materials such as cardboard and pine. Guillow's survived the post WWII slump by creating many inexpensive profile flying rubber powered aircraft and gliders in the 1950s (along with North Pacific) which became famous - some are still available today. The stick and tissue lines have been updated with laser cut parts and are still in production as of 2009.

It is a 3D cabin model (not profile) that is built off of central jigs with all parts factory pre-painted with a colorful design. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. It is like factory-new inside and has not been started. Complete with all parts and plans.

Still factory sealed. Very rare Monogram/Mattel kit for use with many 1/48 aircraft kits that have the special "Skystick" markings on the box top. When the built model was affixed to the Skystick, the 'pilot' could perform dives, climbs, turns and spin action while the 'instrument panel' reflected his pitch and roll attitudes with a pointer.

Strombecker was famous for it's pre-cut and shaped wooden aircraft, ship and train kits. While other manufacturers issued simple blocks of wood with plans, Strombecker took the chance of increased price and finished the wooden parts to shape or very close to it. This caboose is unmarked and is a wood and colored cardstock model. This kit has never been started. Includes folding missile fins, transporter/loader that actually cranks up and down and moves side-to-side, and the tractor/tug. Molded in four glossy colors. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing one standing mechanic. Inventoried complete with all other parts, decals and instructions. This model would create the ultimate diorama with the 1/48 vacuform B-47!
