Rare. This is a Thunderchief factory style model that was never assembled or painted. I have listed the manufacture as Precise, but I am not positive. It is too large to be the Topping model. The accessories are still sealed in a plastic bag and include pylons, Sidewinders, Bullpups, iron bombs and drop tanks. Molded in the traditional lightweight white plastic with a steel nose probe. The aircraft is complete but there is stand.

Unusual kit of the early Scharnhorst with the 'straight' bow. This was before her modification with the 'Atlantic' bow. Wonderful Craftmaster artwork hardbox. Nicely molded full hull model. This is one of two known box issues for the Craftmaster Scharnhorst. This one has black side panels and S3-129 as the kit number. Very highly detailed and well molded. The model has not been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. NOTE: the box would grade much higher but it has a tear on the left side panel.

Very large 'up thrust' free flight Viking with no looping tendencies. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. It is like factory-new inside and has not been started. Complete with all parts, plans and decals (if originally included). Carl Goldberg was a gifted designer of model aircraft, and his career spanned the evolution of flying models. His designs and number of titles won in competition at the Nationals is legendary. His first competition was the 1928 Nationals, where he received honorable mention. By 1934 he won the indoor Nats and in 1935 he opened a Hobby Shop, among the first in the nation (the first one was probably opened by Cleveland Models Ed Packard). Awards came quickly. He wrote articles for Model Airplane News, and was Comet's top designer from 1939 till 1945. After Comet, he worked with Mike Schlesinger and Sid Axelrod on what eventually became Top-Flite Models. In 1955 he founded Carl Goldberg Models and released a still-popular line of scale, rubber, gas, glider and RC models. Needless to say, Goldberg's kits are of the highest quality.

Very nicely molded and detailed large 1/48 scale model. Molded in red, yellow and green. Kit includes mobile launching platform, detailed missile, stair lift check stand, tractor and jet engine and a very large and extensive decal sheet including all white stripes on the missile. This kit has never been started. It is internally sealed in factory bags and includes decals and instructions. The Snark was America's first Intercontinental Cruise Missile. Max speed was 650 MPH and range was 6000 miles. Guidance was by an internal celestial system and the warhead was nuclear. SAC units operated Snark from 1958 to the early 1960s.
