Superb kit from the late 1950s or very early 1960s. Recommended engines are .15 to .29. Features 'Superform' balsa shell that is perfectly formed to the exact shape of the fuselage. There are no blocks to carve and no planking required. Includes Jig-Time construction, precision die-cut grade A balsa wood, tapered leading edges, die-cut plywood formers, ribs, spar braces and other parts where additional strength is required, completely formed landing gear, clear, fully formed plastic canopy, rubber wheels, hardwood engine mounts, top grade silk-span, complete set of fuel-proof decals, full hardware (45 parts) and full size detailed plans with step-by-step instructions. The kit has never been started. The kit is like new inside - the small parts that were sealed are still in the factory sealed bags. The parts that were never internally sealed have been inventoried complete, including decals and plans/instructions.

Rare and very nicely molded kit. Features detailed complete engine & engine compartment, opening hood, full interior, your choice of the convertible top up or down with the top 'boot' or full top, rotating wheels, exhaust and underside detail. Molded in white, clear, red tinted clear, and chrome. With rubber whitewall tires, metal axles and metal body screws. NOTE: this kit has very minor and 'professional' quality assembly to two pieces, the engine block halves. There is no other assembly. There are two small dabs of putty on the two sink marks on the hood, but they have not been sanded. The stock version has been inventoried complete but NOTE: the custom version is missing the gauge piece, scavenger pipes, fender skirts, phone, hood scoop, front and rear end custom treatments, sunk antennas and chrome brake drum and jack stand. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts present including instructions. NOTE: Missing decals. There are tire burns as follows: one pulley of the fan belt assembly, underside of the boot, the edge of the back (inner) continental cover (will not show if you place it on the bottom) and a few tiny ones on the dash.

This first issue is from 1964 and is a very highly detailed and well molded kit. Features all parts so you can build any one of four versions including 2-Seat Night Fighter, day fighter, 'Droop Snoot' with bomber nose and F5 photo recon version, detailed cockpit, detailed cannon & machine gun bay with opening hatches, optional bomb and missile loadout, crew figures and more. NOTE: this kit has very minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: two drop tanks built. There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions. Decals are from kit 6848; that is a later issue of this same kit. They are identical other than the part number in the border.

1966 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to, in this case Gary Cooper and Clark Gable's automobiles. This was the Duesenberg Company's last great automobile before going out of business in 1937. The Model J was a superb automobile and the fastest and finest car of it's day. Never to be outdone, the two brothers made two supercharged 'Super-Duesenbergs' from J models and are referred to by the public as SSJs. (The term SSJ was never used by the factory) The output was a whopping 400 bhp. The model includes rubber tires, chrome plated parts, colored injection molded parts and clear parts. Features detailed chassis with suspension, complete motor, removable hood, spoked wheels and a full interior. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions present.
