Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG+++
$419
1957 first and only issue of this rare Monogram Gift set. While Revell was very prolific with gift sets in the 1950s, Monogram was very restrained, issuing very few and then only once. This hardbox is in very solid condition with no fading, stains or split corners. There is edge wear that account for the 'VG' box rating. Inside, the kit has the correct cardboard divider. The DC-3 is 1/90 scale and features optional position cabin door, rotating propellers and wheels, pilot, copilot, hostess and passenger figures and colorful TWA decals. The Super G Constellation is 1/131 scale and features two hostesses, two loading ramps, tip tanks, battery truck and full TWA decals. The models have not been started. Both models are inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

From the 1970s and rare in this condition. This ex-Airfix model has decals and parts for all three aircraft- civil airliner or military. Features all moving control surfaces, rotating propellers & wheels, optional position doors and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals appear in amazing 'near mint' condition which is very desirable since MPC decals from this era are often of poor quality. Please read the two articles on saving old decals on this website before using old MPC decals.

Very, very rare, complete and 100% correct. The Pan Am Airport Scene was commissioned by Pan Am in the late 1950s and only sold through the airline, not through Revell distributors. This has made it one of the rarest Revell kits in existence. It is widely considered an 'S' kit since it was made at that time and features that style of artwork, but the box never had the yellow 'S' anywhere on it. It contains all the parts and markings listed in the title and makes an incredible airport diorama. The box has excellent color and gloss with no tears or stains. Three corners are solid - the other has been repaired very neatly with clear tape. There is general wear as shown but no other damage. Inside, the parts are as new. All pieces are in the correct gloss silver plastic with the clear Revell 'Swivel Base Display Stand.' The airport accessories are still sealed in the original factory bag, including the metal axles. The unique decal sheet for this special issue is intact, never cut and in 'good' condition. It contains Pan Am DC-7 decals and markings for the ground equipment. The decals are flat but have some yellowing and two creases. On the back they have the correct Revell markings and part number to be original for this model. The instructions are 100% correct and original for this model. They are in 'very good+' condition with the usual yellowing, two very small thin spots and one very light stain. In all, an excellent investment piece that has never been started with the airport parts bag sealed and otherwise inventoried complete with the correct decals and instructions. Please note that Revell did NOT issue this kit with paper 'carpet' like the United Airlines Flight 707 Airport Scene. The 'carpet' has been intentionally de-listed from the area of the box that describes the contents and has been removed from the instructions as well. Although this kit does not have an 'S' on it, I have included it as an 'S' kit since it is from that time frame and shares the common box art theme.

Rare and very large scale model from the early/mid 1970s that is about 22 inches long when assembled. Well detailed with a colorful, big decal sheet for United Airlines. Rare. Still factory sealed and rare; the seal has shrunk slightly and drawn the box top slightly cocnave. This is the A. Kikoler issue which was made in Brazil. Kikoler was especially active in the modeling field and as a jobber for Revell; so much so that Revell would regularly ship molds to Brazil and Kikoler would send them back when production was complete. The kit is from the same molds and uses the same box art as the famous Pre 'S' issue.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Exc

Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Exc++

Ex-Soviet Union kit that is very well molded for that time with very fine detail and hull drain holes. Full hull model measures 7.5 inches long when assembled and includes display stand and decals. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags, which is attached to cardstock that is folded in two. At times the factory workers had to get pretty creative because of a shortage of staples. Beyond staples, I have seen the bag of parts attached with a clothing snap, a rivet or even sewn on with thread!
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Mint
