Large 1/8 scale, 1970s issue of the engine that powered Lindberg's Spirit of St. Louis across the Atlantic Ocean. Very highly detailed kit with over 150 parts. Complete engine includes crankcase, 9 cylinders, two magnetos, carburetor air heater, fuel pump, oil pump, accessories, mounting ring, carburetor and fuel system, vinyl wires for the distributor blocks and dual ignition system and more. A name plate label is included with a Wright J-5 decal. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bags including decals and instructions. The Wright J-5 powered a great many famous aircraft of the day - the Bellanca 'Columbia', Boeing Model 72, Cessna Cabin, Curtiss Lark, Fairchild Cabin, Fokker Universal and C-2 / F-7 Trimotors, early Ford Trimotors, Keystone Pathfinder, Lockheed Vega, Sikorsky S-36 and many others.

Modern plank-on-frame laser kit wooden ship kit with metal fittings. Features hull of hardwood, plywood and pre-cut strip wood, other pre-cut hardwood parts, a vast array of metal and brass fittings including armor, cannon and more, detailed cast resin bow dragon, pre-printed cloth flags and mast top tassels, two types of rigging thread, completely pre-sewn and ready to use sails, full size plans and a superb step-by-step instructions book with text and one or more detailed illustrations for each step. Clearly a great deal of thought was put into the kit. NOTE: this kit has some neat assembly. 20 wooden parts are neatly built - the flat hull bottom, bulkheads, bow and stern and 8 planks from the bottom working up. Quality of work is 'very good+' and there is nothing keeping you from finishing the model. Inventoried complete with all parts, flags, sails, fittings, plans and instructions.

Original hardbox issue dated 1966. From 1924 to 1930, this 660 lb "Jack the Giant Killer" raced and won against the traditional 2,000 lb juggernauts of the day. Other than light weight, the design had many first such as cast aluminum wheels with integral cast brake drums, solid forged bar front axle, two liter straight eight engine with single overhead cam and three valves per cylinder, two exhausts and one intake with the combined area of the exhaust valves greater than the intake to scavenge the burned gases and more. This super detailed kit is molded in silver, nickel plate, blue, yellow, white and included authentic leather-like material. Features fully detailed engine, suspension and undercarriage, removable hood, optional parts for race or street versions and hay bales and guard rail for diorama display. The kit has not been started. NOTE: missing P33 rear strait exhaust pipes; easily made from round stock or metal tubing. Also, the green material for the display is decaying with age. You can easily replace it with foam available at a craft store. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts and instructions present.
