1968 Picture Fleet issue with John Steel artwork. Kit features large flight deck decals with dark gray landing area and white lines, movable cranes, optional position elevators, 16 aircraft, helicopters, 11 tow trucks, 10-5" guns, lifeboats and radar details. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in 'excellent+' condition and the instructions have some bug damage on one panel but function perfectly for assembly the model.

Earlier issue hardbox is dated 1967 and has beautiful artwork by A.J. Rudisill. Large scale full-hull model is very nicely detailed. Features complete deck fittings, railings, complete rigging instructions, display stand and more. The hull is molded in bright red and the other parts in wood tan and medium gray. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Beautifully detailed kit of one of the classic airliners of the 1930s. Imperial Airways equipped these aircraft with deluxe interiors and provided full service. Customers were thoroughly pampered and had superb views of the ground from only a few thousand feet. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing one exhaust pipes. Easily made from small diameter wire. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Late 1950s Cellovision box with trading card. Numerous operating features and good detail. Features retracting main and nose gear and opening/closing gear doors, opening cockpits and movable control surfaces. Four detailed engines with removable panels.

Best 1931 Miller (Bowes) Special Indianapolis 500 Winner, 1/30

Very rare kit for the advanced collector. In the early 1950s Best Hobby Kits (Best Plastic Corporation of Brooklyn, NY) entered the infant USA plastic model kit market with a series of Indianapolis 500 winners. Six kits were issued - the 1920 Monroe Special, 1922 Murphy Special, 1931 Miller Special, 1935 Gilmore Special, 1940 Maserati Racer and 1953 Fuel Injection Special. The kits were priced correctly and featured 'Super Detailed' parts (for the time). It is unknown why the line failed to sell - it may have been distribution. Best was certainly not a large player in the business. The kit features real rubber Firestone racing tires, decals and some interior detail. The kit has not been started. All parts are still in the original 'krinkle' bag. Complete with decals and instructions. NOTE: instructions are photocopied.
