NOTE: builder kit only, please read carefully. Rare, large-scale model designed with assistance by Packard International. Very highly detailed. Kit builds a rolling chassis just like the real automobile. Features fully detailed V-12 engine and engine compartment, complete suspension, steerable front wheels, full interior, opening doors and rumble seat, opening and closing rumble seat steps, optional position windows, opening hood, folding luggage rack, optional luggage trunk and choice of convertible boot or top up. NOTE: this kit has neat, minor assembly. about 1/2 of the basic frame has been assembled as well as the front steering linkage. Assembly quality is 'excellent+' and the steering works perfectly. There is no other assembly. NOTE: kit has some painting. The body shell, engine block halves, frame parts, steering linkage, dashboard and running boards have been painted. Quailty of paint ranges from 'very good' to excellent.' The fender body shell has been lightly sanded but not painted. The kit has been inventoried with all parts and instructions present, NOTE missing small sticker sheet (decals). The fender shell and one tree of small parts are red; the other trees are light tan, black, wood tan, medium gray, chrome plate, clear and with rubber whitewall wheels.

NOTE: this kit has near, minor assembly and minor painting. The pilot has been assembled and painted; quality is 'excellent.' Also, the cockpit parts are all painted with 'very good' quality. NOTE: 1/2 of the tail wheel strut is broke in two; it is an easy fix as you simply glue both halves to the other side. One main gear strut is broken cleanly in two.

The kit has never been started. The fittings bag is still factory sealed and the hull and printwood are inventoried complete. Plans are 'excellent.'

The plans are dated 1938. This kit is part of Ideal's famous '12 Inch' series of ship models with the composition molded hull. This eliminated all the work of forming the hull from a block of wood. This hull is in 'excellent' condition with no warping. Small edge chips are the only damage. Also includes two sheets of printwood parts, bamboo strips, wooden dowels, full plans/instructions which include rigging details. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes the plans/instructions. The box damaged, missing two small and one large end flap on the right side. The parts are still wrapped in the plans exactly as they left the factory; the plans have very little wear and are in 'very good++' condition.

Very near 1/100 scale short-body tri-jet. The box is dated 1962 but this is a later issue (mid 1960s) with the slightly different logo. Joe Kotula did the stunning artwork of the ground crew preparing the short-bodied 727-22 for departure while passengers board via the 'airstair' rear door. The 'Fly UNITED' neon sign beams in the background as another United 727 departs overhead. Inside, it is molded in white and clear. The aircraft can be built in gear up or down configuration. Includes complete decals for N7211U as shown on the box top and the clear 'triangle world' display stand. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Decals have age spots to the backing paper; the actual transfers are clear of spots and have typical yellowing. The kit features all parts needed to build one of three versions - detailed stock 283 engine, complete 409 CID 'W' head blower or carburetter engine, engine stand, full stock interior, custom interior with bucket seats, roll bar, custom wheel and gear shift, telephone with bracket and stuff alligator, optional stock hubcaps, mag wheels or custom bladed cap, standard tires or racing slicks, chassis with separately molded rear differential, shock absorbers, traction masters, front A arms and front lower suspension unit, detailed engine compartment with opening hood and stock or custom '57 Buick grill. Furthermore, the "Minor Stylizing" section of the instructions shows more included features such as whip antenna, spotlights, fender mirrors, three piece car show trophy, custom front pan, clear tube grill with Corvette type vertical grill, scoop aerials and roof scoops, horizontal tail fins, rear roll pan, nerf bars and bubble fender skirts. The more radical 'Top Chopping' and major 'Stylizing Options A and B' display how to chop the top and use the included clear lowered 'bubble top,' a wild front end extension with Lincoln-style custom headlights, extended hood and 'pancake hood' insert, wild deck body extension with custom bullets, rear grill and tail lights and more.
