The Holy Grail of old Revell models. The box has great color and gloss and displays better than the 'very good' grade. I graded it such because there are two split corners and one seam neatly and correctly repaired from the inside. First and only issue dated 1959 of this large kit. The molds have been damaged which prevents a reissue. Highly detailed with many moving parts. Includes main space station with opening walls, airlocks, rotating top and bottom sections, rotating radar assembly and fully detailed interior. Interior includes sleeping quarters, living quarters, operations and laboratory areas, terrestrial and celestial observations rooms, conference and dining rooms and more. Also includes 4 other space ships that can be docked/un-docked and displayed with the space station - maintenance vehicle - space taxi - research vehicle and Space ship with airlock. Special large clear stand is included. Molded in the correct silver, teal green, black, orange and clear. Includes 'excellent++' decals with only very slight yellowing, 'excellent' instructions and the science fiction booklet on how to operate the station. This kit has never been started. It has been 100% inventoried complete with all parts, decals, operations handbook and instructions present. This kit must be shipped insured. NOTE: one silver part, #29 has a very small chip at the lower left (see photo).

The kit features all parts needed to build one of three versions - detailed stock 283 engine, complete 409 CID 'W' head blower or carburetter engine, engine stand, full stock interior, custom interior with bucket seats, roll bar, custom wheel and gear shift, telephone with bracket and stuff alligator, optional stock hubcaps, mag wheels or custom bladed cap, standard tires or racing slicks, chassis with separately molded rear differential, shock absorbers, traction masters, front A arms and front lower suspension unit, detailed engine compartment with opening hood and stock or custom '57 Buick grill. Furthermore, the "Minor Stylizing" section of the instructions shows more included features such as whip antenna, spotlights, fender mirrors, three piece car show trophy, custom front pan, clear tube grill with Corvette type vertical grill, scoop aerials and roof scoops, horizontal tail fins, rear roll pan, nerf bars and bubble fender skirts. The more radical 'Top Chopping' and major 'Stylizing Options A and B' display how to chop the top and use the included clear lowered 'bubble top,' a wild front end extension with Lincoln-style custom headlights, extended hood and 'pancake hood' insert, wild deck body extension with custom bullets, rear grill and tail lights and more. The kit is molded in white, clear, red-tint clear, two trees of chrome parts and rubber tires. NOTE: there is no assembly but the top has been neatly chopped to fit the clear lowered bubble top. Quality of work is professional and the top sections fit the bubble top as they should. Please note that unless you provide another body, this kit must now be built this way. Inventoried with all plastic parts present and instructions but NOTE: missing decals.

Includes accessories (bomb carts, tractor) as shown on box cover. Has markings for either aircraft. MG-K of 7th Sq served as a minelayer, bomber and one of the first units of the Pathfinder force, and EX-L of 199 Sq of No.3 Group which converted from Wellingtons in 1943 and performed bombing, minelaying and supply missions. In 1944 they flew with 100 Group on Radio Counter Measure (ECM) missions until 1945. Kit features elevating guns, rotating turrets, interior, rotating props and wheels, movable control surfaces, optional position bomb bay doors, bomb bay detail and bombs and optional position undercarriage. NOTE: the crew door has been glued to the fuselage (in the closed position). There is no other assembly and no painting. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please note that the box is only 'Fair++' but the parts, instructions and decals are all excellent. Great builder kit.
