This is the rare, early issue of the large-scale Caravelle. The kit features clear cabin and cockpit windows, full landing gear and is molded in gloss white, black and silver. Mold quality is very good and the door and control surface lines are recessed. The very large color sheet of decals is 'excellent' with the usual yellowing. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Aeroflot and Warsaw Pac Airliners as well as Military Helicopters and Aircraft.

CV-6 has a combat record unequaled in the history of the US Navy and is considered the most "Successful Warship in History." Her totals were as follows: 20 Battle Stars, 911 Aircraft Destroyed and 71 Ships Sunk. She took part in almost every major action of the Pacific war from 1941 to 1945. The fascinating history of this ship is told by Commander Edward P. Stafford, USN, in his legendary book "The Big E - The Story of the USS Enterprise." Kit is over 20 inches long and includes a one piece hull, propeller and rudder detail, SBD scout-bombers, moving cranes and complete decals and flags.

Molded in chrome, black, silver, clear and red with rubber tires and real metal hood hinges. Features detailed engine with transmission and full ignition wiring, rolling chassis build up like the actual automobile, complete suspension and exhaust, steerable front wheels, full engine compartment with opening hood, full interior with excellent dash detail, separately molded doors, brake drums, wire wheels, optional top or boot and more. NOTE: this kit has minor assembly. The windshield assembly has been built but not glued to the body. Quality of work is 'excellent' and there is no other assembly and zero painting. Rare original issue from the 1950s - not the modern reissue. This large model has 155 parts and many action features. The kit of the six-wheel drive 5 ton Wrecker was designed straight from US Army Blueprints and data from the US Army Ordnance Corps. The kit incorporates nearly all the movable features of the actual equipment. The front wheels steer realistically, the hood opens to show the highly detailed engine, the windshield is collapsible and the doors of the cab can be opened and closed. The cab can be enclosed with a simulated canvas top. The rear train provides realistic suspension over irregular surfaces. The crane is completely operable and can hoist actual objects. The winch can be used realistically to pull other models. The jacks can be extended and lowered to support the truck. Additional sheave blocks are provided for hoisting and pulling operations. All four functions of the crane - lifting or lowering the shipper, extending or retracting the boom, winding or unwinding the hoist drum and swinging the boom to the left or right - can be realistically simulated. Inside, there has been no assembly but NOTE: the face and hands of one figure has been neatly painted. There is no other painting. The parts have been inventoried 100% complete and include decals and instructions. NOTE: one part (a pulley) is a lighter color of plastic. It is from a later issue of this kit.
