Second issue of this wonderful kit. Hardbox is dated 1966. Features rolling chassis detail, detailed engine, complete interior, removable soft top or boot and removable hood. Molded in a brilliant red, white, black, chrome, clear and with real rubber tires. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. The 540K was produced from 1937 to 1939 by Daimler-Benz and was priced at about $11,000 - a King's ransom in those days. The supercharger boosted horsepower to 180 and the car traveled easily at 105 mph.

The model has five highly detailed sections which are removable: Command Module, Service Module, Launch Escape Tower, Lunar Module and Apollo Saturn Adapter Section. Stands over 20 inches high when assembled. Two display bases are included for in flight and for lunar landing.
