Limited run injection molded kit. Features white plastic parts with fine recessed panel lines and injection molded clear canopy. Never started and inventoried complete with all plastic parts and includes basic instructions. Most Pegasus kits were very basic and this one is no exception. While Pegasus included all of the exterior parts, the cockpit (for example) will need to be scratch built.

Rare, classic early 1950s model that is made of solid Western Pine - not balsa. Builds up to an impressive display model. Features factory carved fuselage & wings, cut-to-shape tail features, sandpaper and a small parts bag with propeller, wheels, etc. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Before plastic kits were introduced, Strombecker was famous as the premier hardwood preshaped model manufacturer. In the 1940s and 1950s, Strombecker kits were flawlessly engineered but not inexpensive. All wooden parts are hardwood and are precarved to shape - usually only a quick sanding would finish them.

Very rare. This is an early, no part number issue of this large 1/28 scale motorized kit. A metal gear box with nylon gears is driven by the included Mabuchi TKK 13 motor that is still in the original colorful Mabuchi box. The gearbox spins the propeller and drives the tail wheel, moving the aircraft across any smooth surface while the red and green wing navigation light blink on and off. Factory glue is included as well as all running hardware and lights. Features hidden battery compartment (where the real engine would be), moving rudder, elevator and ailerons and opening canopy. The kit has never been started. The small parts, gearbox, lights and glue are still factory sealed. All other parts have been inventoried and NOTE: missing #8 antenna and (1) of (2) small gear door struts. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are in excellent condition. The cardboard presentation material and color photo of the assembled model are in very good condition.
